Voice stil raspy, trying to recover from screaming my head off and losing my voice Saturday night. Have not taken my tailgating stickers off the car yet, and my seat cushions and some tailgate items are still in the back.... I think I subconsciously think if I don't unpack the car this high will not end. I don't want this year to be done.... I am bumming not having another game to go to. I am bumming there is no bowl. I'd love to see this team gut out a win over a SEC team in a Florida bowl game ala UTenn (Tony Hunt time on that last drive was so pretty) and LSU (I was so wet that day I've been more dry in the shower). Don't you just KNOW that this team would find a way to beat an SEC team on Jan 1?
Feels so good to feel so good about PSU football. So many downs the past 12 months. So much worry. So much disgust....
I remember leaving my house at 3 AM to head to Rise and Rally, knowing the program was at a tipping point and we COULD possibly head to the gutter. I was hoping we could just survive for 4/5 years and start climbing back. Now I am filled with pride and HOPE and expectations. I now think we can compete and thrive the next 4 years. We can stay at the top in the division/league, ready to be top 10 annually post-sanctions. I feel so good about the 2012 team, BOB and staff, the core fans, the program's health. That was WAY more than a OT win vs Wiscky... and I am still buzzing because of it!
WE ARE ....

Bunch of f$)&$&rs.
Best night as a PSU fan ever. Beyond OSU 2005.
“We’re doing things we couldn’t imagine,” says safety Stephen Obeng-Agyapong. “But we’re doing them together.”
Great to see a lot of optimism around here.
Still haven't gotten my voice back. I took my 12 year old daughter to her first game. On the way out she turned and asked me if we could come to the Blue / white game.
It's been a long time since I felt so good about PSU football. Just the emotions of those kids out there was amazing to witness. Also to see OB get hooked.
Just was such a good experience.
My voice is still super froggy and hoarse and I think I just might be getting feeling back in my toes... Fabulous atmosphere and an amazing game. Definitely in my top three with 2005 Ohio and 2002 Nebraska.
"Whoever’s trying to kill me isn’t getting the job done. But one day, I’m going to punch that f*cker in the face."
I have been to every PSU home game the past 18 seasons, and most bowl games. I never, ever, ever though a game at teh Beav could touch that 2005 epic battle. Tamba putting Troy boy on his head. We were BACK. The crowd at that moment had to rival any crowd noise at any venue in HISTORY, soccer included. But I will say this was right in teh same ballpark. Such a sweet, deserved win for this team. 05 had MRob and his guts ..... this team had Mauti and his heart. Love them both. Sorta like my 2 kids, can't say I love one more than the other!!!
02 Nebraska.... ahh, nice one. That crowd was INSANE. Loudest in my 18 seasons from start to finish. What a game!!!! We might have been able to beat a NFL team that night at the Beav. We were one fire, the crowd was on fire, it was amazing....
I got emotional and started crying after Wisky missed that FG in OT. The last time I cried over a PSU football game was my senior year in 2008 when PSU demolished MSU to capture the Big 10 Championship and a trip to the Rose Bowl. It was my last time sitting in the student section so my emotions were all sorts of everywhere. Back to this past Saturday....my wife and sister-in-law hugged me from each side as they were jumping up and down screaming in excitement over what just happened! But me, I took a step back and had flash-backs of everything this group of seniors and all the other young men on this team have been through over the course of the alst year. Words cannot even describe the feelings I have for this team and the 2012 seniors. The feeling after the win on Saturday night was a feeling I'll never forget and easily one of my top 5 PSU games I've ever been too given the circumstances that this football program has endured in the last year. This 2012 are Champions in my book and will forever be legends for their character and heart for the University and football program both on and off the field. This 2012 team could single handely keep the football program afloat for remainder of the sanctions because of this senior class. That remains to be seen but time will tell. The win on Saturday night was a win I'll never forget!
