It sure looks like the case. You can see it on their faces, and in their body language. Their will looks completely broken.
Yea. They were playing well and with a lot of confidence when we showed up in Kinnick.
I think the "adjustments" they made after 17 of their players went to the hospital with liver issues following a workout is probably what broke them.
I remember Wisconsin folding like a flange in a cupboard after we thoroughly beat them before. I did not think that would happen to a Ferentz team. Of course PSU did the same in '99.
