Absolutely perfect fall weather today here in State College -- high 60s, low 70s, sunshine, a few clouds, breeze.
The stadium is mostly empty but the team is about to take the field for warmups. Check back here for updates as we get closer to kickoff, then stay for our in-game coverage.

It was just announced in the press box that kickoff has been pushed back to 3:40 p.m.
Ty Howle doing some long-snapping in warmups to Steven Bench, who is practicing holding. They're not working with a kicker, though.
Sam Ficken and Renny Parthemore practicing kickoffs; Butterworth and Joe Baker punting in warmups.
Paul Jones -- no big surprise here -- warming up with receivers, not quarterbacks.
Derek Day and Bill Belton not in uniform today.
Wartman, Donovan Smith not dressed for game either.
I knew it would happen, but that worries me.
I'm interested to see if Roof goes with Amos at Safety today and put Davis out at corner. Safeties are so much more important against the Triple Option.
Where legends are made.......
Debatable with the Cornerback being a force man on so many of the plays. Especially with Davis being so slight in stature, it may be better to keep Amos at CB one more week.
Agreed. I think we will see alot of cover 2 today.
True, but it matters what kind of D we are going to use the most. If it is more man, we should use Davis, because the two safeties are technically the force men. They would key the Wings.
But, if we go with more zone, then most definitley we should go with Amos at CB
Absolutely, agree with that. I like a zone scheme on the option simply because when playing the option your running some sort of man with your option assignments anyways. The zone allows you to keep your head forward, and not have to worry about turning your back near as much.
ya, I personally like going man-to-man.
But either way, as long as our guys stay disciplined, we should control the game (defensively) pretty easily.
enjoy the game fellas
I agree w MTayl, go zone and leave Amos at CB one more week. Willis and Obeng at safety, east Amos into Safety if you go nickel and put amos at CB... NO FAGNANO ON THROWING DOWNS. Only special teams.
WE ARE! And we will always be...
Stadium filling in about the same rate as it did for the Ohio game. Big pockets of empty space below the press box and luxury boxes.
Big contingent of midshipmen, dressed in their whites, in the upper deck in north end zone.
If you go to the nickel I would think Amos would play that nickel spot.
Great to see Ficken nailing FGs in warmups. Great team moment.
What time is the flyover happening?
And bring Fagnano in? No way.
Edit: Maybe bring in Lucas due to Davis' size... I dunno. But no Fagnano on 3rd and 10 please...

It happened. Couldn't see it though -- went directly over our heads.
SOA/Willis/Davis/Amos/Morris, no Fagnano.
Thank you, never said anything on Fagnano. It was about where to put Amos, just shaking my head.
? I meant bring Davis on the field, not necessarily at the nickel spot. Shake away. No reason to though. But Davis' size does concern me... And it makes me wonder if Lucas is ready to go some this game.
And you freaked out about me wanting to bring Fagnano in. Which I never mentioned.
See, not hard. No Amos to safety, Amos plays the nickel spot in that situation. So I will shake away at...nevermind...realize my audience.
Crowd looks good. Here WE GO BOYS!!
