I know, I get it, I'm 100% behind him. I just remember getting my hopes up after the 400th win game a couple of years ago and just being crushed after he fell apart at Ohio State. I'm keeping a more level head this time.
I agree. Not taking away from the 4th quarter and the victory.....but he was pretty bad early in the game. But that's what he is I guess. If he gets away with those 4-5 really bad plays/decisions/throws....then we can breath a sigh of relief and expect something good later.
I agree, though i wont use the word "awful"...i though he was "off" all game until the 4th. That being said....he proved to be one hell of a leader and continually spits in the face of adversity. He is winning more games for us than he is losing.
On a side note..Zwinak is a damn warrior! There were two drives in a row where that kid ran the ball or caught it for what felt like 10 plays straight in a no huddle...kid dug down deep and punidhed the NW defense! Love it!
I couldn't care less about these voting things.....but it's comical I got downgraded because I said MM wasn't very good early in the game.
Why is it so hard for people to realize it is okay to admit he doesn't play well at times...and actually looks really bad at times, while still finding a way to make a few key plays in games? Even those who are on his bandwagon, you are fooling yourselves if you don't see that he clearly has a few VERY bad plays each game. I'm not talking those plays that "every D1 QB does."
It is who he is at this point. I accept and expect it. Like I said...if he gets away with those plays early in games, then I usually expect he'll make a few big plays later.
P.S. Still didn't like the A. Rogers touchdown "dance" he did after he ran for his.

Deal with it...
I actually loved it. Wasn't planned, completely spontaneous and let's be honest, it was a HUGE play. Have no issues with what happened, and then he celebrated with his teammates.
I agree 100% with your assessment.
I counted 7 bad decisions and 8 if you look at a 3rd down conversion pass thrown into coverage (4th Qtr) that was caught. MM had lots of room to run for the 1st to his right side and instead threw into coverage.
1. A bad pass that should have been intercepted in the 1st qtr.
2. 4 2nd Qtr mistakes, 2 of which could have been picked, 1 of which was thrown into Dbl coverage and a "WTF" kind of pooch pass shot put thing was that?
3. 2 3rd Qtr mistakes including the 15-yard sac.
4th Qtr was near perfect. Overall MM could have been 41-51 had he not had 6 passes dropped - 1st Qtr 1 by Robinson and another by Carter that would have been a TD! 2nd Qtr another by Carter and 3 by Moseby-Felder!
At the end of the day however, we were 10 of 22 on 3rd downs and 5 of 6 on 4th! And Moxie was awesome in the 4th period leading PSU to victory. However, I didn't like the "Discount double-check" dance in the end zone either. That was cocky and irresponsible and could have cost us 15 yds on the ensuing KO.
October 12, 2013. PSU 43 - UM 40 (4 OT). Unfortunately this fan wasn't around long enough to see it!
I agree. He missed way too many throws and too many open receivers, as he did last week too. And why does he think he can outrun D-linemen and LBs that are twice the athlete he is. I don't mind him taking a sack or two (as opposed to forcing throws), but for god's sake, what is with the spins followed by retreating 10 yards for a sack and a loss of 15! Happens way too often. The team is going to need a much more consistent performance to beat OSU and Nebraska. He still hasn't put together a full game against a quality opponent. All that said, he did lead the team down the field when it counted. Props to him and the team for a big win!
On a separate note, I haven't seen the D fly around the way that they are in quite a long time.
