And missed a WIDE OPEN vertical route... He looked like crap for 3 quarters. If anyone says different, they are blind. He brought it in the 4th though. Great quarter for MM... When the game was on the line, he showed up. Wins and Losses matter. And today, with the game on the liine, MM won the game. Respect.
WE ARE! And we will always be...
Tell ya what though... that kid has a horseshoe up his ace.... he throws a lot of bad balls that wind up "best case scenario".... lots of good catches on balls thrown behind people's heads.... no touch to "lead" a receiver in stride... misses wide open people.... throws a lot of bad passes into heavy coverage.... etc etc.... but he had a lot of good fortune today... nonetheless.... I'll freakin take it.
Not a "bad" game per say by MM but really it wouldn't have taken much to have turned the tides of this game the other way. Needs to keep studying, making better decisions w/ the ball
Haha. T Rex dive. That was rediculous looking. Almost as bad as the one he did in the Virginia game? When he came up short of a first down. Think we got a favorable spot however. He isn't smooth but he a winner.
If we had a competent kicker, there could have been at least 9 more points on the board

I wouldn't say awful, but he did make a few mistakes. That is bound to happen when so much of the offense is going through him.
He is a 4-speed engine running a 6-speed offense...but he's got a lot of heart and a big pair of balls. There's a few on here that can't claim those things.
F the NCAA
F the BOT
He misses a few and forces a few, but he has been way above where his vocal critics had him. He really has had 2 game winning drives this year IMO. He's not going to carry PSU solo, but he doesn't have to. He just needs to keep doing what he is doing.
Pfff... raise your hand if you were on the Moxie train right when BOB was hired.
<---- this guy!
LOL well, you are one of the few, the proud, the Moxies...
We are winning and he is a good leader this year. He has been playing well.
Certainly he has some questionable throws and takes a couple sacks he shouldn't, but every QB in the country does that.
What he did (many have mentioned it) is he got back up on the horse and delivered us a victory, on homecoming weekend, over a ranked & undefeated team.
We have a great team and it isn't because of wins and losses ... it's because those players are playing for themselves and for us. We Are One Team and these guys will be legends.
If winning was easy even losers would do it.
You all can have your perfect quarters 1-3. I'll take 22 points of 4th qtr moxie all day long, and I will win a lot more than you. He moxed it up and down that field. Moxed on 3rd down. Moxed on 4th down. Moxed in the Red Zone. Moxed himself into the End Zone.
Agreed. He showed up in the 4th BIG TIME.
Certainly illustrates the diversity of the word...
Post of the day winner!
PENN STATE FOREVER
He had 0 turnovers. He managed the game very well.
This was such a great win! Every one is HUGE especially now with what the NCAA did to us. I've been a critic of McGloin's play in the past, but it has been warranted. Today the dude was good. Made a few bad throws and reads but also made a number of nice throws and reads. He seems to have a good grasp of the offense and maybe most importantly he didn't turn the ball over. I loved the tempo and volume of plays on offense. The more plays you run the more chances you have to put points on the board. Words can't describe how happy I am to have an offensive mind like BOB running this offense. You couldn't have asked for much more from your defense today either. Without the special teams mistakes this was as dominate of a performance as anyone could hope for. A lot of heart shown today. This team still has work to do and room to improve. IMO the bye week is coming at the perfect time. Let's beat Iowa.
He was lucky to have 0 turnovers. He threw a lot of balls into double coverage. He is doing the best he can out there, but against a better defense he will be exposed (again). Temper the enthusiasm.
The things that happen when you have real coaches that can improve a player....
Why temper it? Enjoy it. It's a fun team and he is doing well. You can wait for the poopoo game to occur, but it won't be a shock if it happens. He will get slowed down my more talented teams...that isn't going on a limb or anything. It happens to every QB who has ever played the game. I say get behind the kid for once as he is a part of a pretty special team.

I might have to pull out a UFR for Moxie and Moxie alone.
