Why are we subjected to these threads each time we talk about Waters? Waters more than likely starts, while Hack is redshirted. Hack's father prefers that he redshirts. We do need another QB in this class an experienced one.
Don't take my tone as an attack.

I wonder where Cabot ended up at?
I tend to agree. I think people DRASTICALLY overestimate the chances that a non-early enrollie comes in and starts. It almost never happens and when it does it doesn't go well. Add in that OB's system is more complex than the vast majority of systems and the chances of Hack starting, let alone playing well, is extremely slim to none.
His dad is smart. He knows that true freshman QBs rarely do well and that the smart play is to get into the system for a year and then compete for the starting job with 4 to play. Even if Waters (or another juco because I think Waters ends up elsewhere) ends up being the guy for the next 2 years, that shouldn't effect Hack if he is smart. Having a nearly clear path to being a 2 or 3 year starter at a minimum is nothing to scare off a player. In fact, for a true frosh that can't enroll early, it's near ideal for development.
I thought the plan with Hack was always to redshirt? I think that is what the staff wants to do, especially if they get Waters.
The plan was to redshirt him, but if they only had Bench + Hack, it would be very difficult to do that. Hack wants to come in and compete though.
I believe this to be correct. Hack let on that his dad and OB seem to be talking redshirt. He obviously wants to play, but also trusts them to make the best decision for his development and future. I get the sense that he wants to compete because that's who he is, but that he doesn't object to redshirting if that is what his dad and the coaches think is best. smart kid.
“We’re doing things we couldn’t imagine,” says safety Stephen Obeng-Agyapong. “But we’re doing them together.”
Hack and Adam should both take RS. Lead us to two bowls, both BCS!
Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS
WE ARE! And we will always be...
