Hack is the #1 QB in the nation.
Totally unimpressed this week with Max Browne and Shane Morris, and just about the rest of the top QBs. Going off of my eyes and the analysts comments Brice Ramsey might be better than some of the above mentioned.
I tuneed in a minute or two late, but a national analyst was glowing about Hack last night to Leake on sattellite radio show. He basically said Hack wa bigger than any kid down there and had a great frame. He already possesses the maturity and leadership qualities and the kids down there loved playing with him. He also stated Hack is a little behind some of the other QB's in terms of QB coaching which is why PSU is such a great fit for him now. Almost all of these other top QB's have had private QB coaching since they were 12-13 years old and Hack did not. I'm paraphrasing here, but he basically stated unless has the AM gene in him where he can't adjust and learn....the sky is the limit. He said it's nothing you can really tell until a kid is out there playing at the speed of a college game. Basically Hack is the man...botttom line.
IMO hopefully Ferguson or Bench can allow him to adjust to college for a year and get a full year with Fisher and BOB working with him. Look out after that IMO. IT should be a fun few years and even more so if AB bounces all the way back as PSU will be eating some teams up.

"One man didn't build this program and one man sure as hell cannot tear it down."
I think it was Gerry Hamilton who said that Hack has the best tools of the class. Browne, however, is still very accurate.
Will be interesting to see how they adjust the ratings. I think Morris will lose his 5th star, but Browne will keep his.
Last I checked the AA game in the 3rd quarter, I believe Browne only had 1 completion. I mean, I understand the chemistry problem and Hack wasnt much better (though he didnt get help from WRs, and played in the 1st quarter when play was the sloppiest across the teams), but from the little I saw Browne I still see Hack with the higher ceiling.

"Whoever’s trying to kill me isn’t getting the job done. But one day, I’m going to punch that f___r in the face."
Morris was terrible. Definitely one of the worst between the 2 games. Not sure he should or will be a 5 star on here much longer. I thought Brice Ramsey was the 2nd best looking QB between both the AA games. (of course, Damion Terry is #1 QB according to Bob L).
I don't put much into these games. You've got a bunch of talented kids, but they just don't have time to work together. Browne is an accurate guy who is still a very good QB.
I don't think Terry is the #1 QB, but I think he is a very good QB prospect. Michigan St is getting a kid who is gonna be a player
Hack was one of the few QBs who had the poise to compete in an AA game. Everybody else looked panicked and Morris looked awful.
I think it's safe to say we will never hear about a whole bunch of these kids again.
“We need to keep this (expletive) together,” Mauti and Zordich to Hill
Bateman also showed very good poise and competed well IMO.

Browne is an impressive talent, but I wonder how much better he can really get. Seems maxed out to me. Arm doesn't impress me that much and he seems very mechanical.
IMO, it's Hack and then everyone else. Morris could be GREAT, but he needs some coaching. He has a ton of natural talent and seems to have a terrific personality.
“We’re doing things we couldn’t imagine,” says safety Stephen Obeng-Agyapong. “But we’re doing them together.”
If the sanctions remain in place and unchanged having a QB of Hack's potential will be huge. A very good QB in the college game means 6 wins not problem, having a great QB and some play makers means 8 wins now in Penn State's position that might not be true but Hack will keep this team very competitive.
“Never trust a government that doesn't trust its own citizens with guns.”
Terry is good, and I wouldnt of been upset if we landed him considering the sanctions, but based on video (havent seen either in person), Hack is ahead of Terry and its no question.
I also take into account that Terry visited PSU and had strong good words for us, but our staff chose to offer Hack and Burns over him. I will take OB and our staff's evaluation over Bob Ls.
I don't think its a questions that Hack has the best tools and potential in this class, he is behind Browne as far as accuracy and football mind though due to Browne having QB coaching for a few years. Both will be good players, with OB teaching Hack though I think sky is the limit and would take Hack over any other QB.
Its not even close, Terry could be a good player, but Hack is the far superior prospect.
I know it's still a small sample but I was also including the week of practice in my statements.
Don't care about the downvote but in all likelihood, most of these kids will not be stars in college. Many will not not contribute.
Impossible! It is universally known that Blob L. can make a pin point evaluation based on a 30 second highlight film. I mean he's said so himself. That's got to count for something right? For several years Pitt's classes were chock full of 4 and 5* talent thus the incredible run they went on winning Big Least Titles and BCS Bowl Games. Need further proof? Check out some of these spot on 5 *'s from his days at TOS.
Nate Byham, Dorin Dickerson Pat Bostick, Shayne Hale etc. Factor in the multitude of 4 stars that amounted to nothing as well and you can see his Yinzer Pleasing agenda front and center. He's one of the foremost authors of fiction working in the US toady. For the uninformed, he is an influence peddler and when he posts here you should either ignore him completely or reply with this.
