After the blown call this past weekend and the NCAA removing PSU gear from their website!
When do we start becoming the victims in all of this also? I know personally I have not done anything to deserve the punishments being handed down to our students, athletes, faculty, and fans! We do not deserve all the backhanded insults and BS!
I feel terrible for our young men and coaches in the football program that are taking the brunt of this. They did nothing!
I am all for prosecuting those involved with what happened. But those who had nothing to do with it are the ones taking the most punishment.
F The NCAA!!!!
The day that PSU has some people in charge that actually have a backbone is the day we don't have to go through this anymore.
I am sure the pulling of the mechandise was brought up to Rod at sometime and he just signed off so it would go away.
By the way, where is Dave Joyner when all the crap keeps coming down?
What kind of AD goes in hiding? Oh yeah, one that has no business being an AD.
I just checked the NCAA website and there seems to be plenty of Penn State gear for sale. I'm not sure where you heard that, but it appears that is incorrect. Not that I disagree with the spirit of your post in its entirety, though.
It was taken down. Then it spread all over twitter and put back up. NCAA gave "internet glitch" as an explanation.
Very coincidental that it hit the one team they have been stomping into the ground for the last year.
sounds like the same glitch that nearly wiped out that fan spirit thingy espn was running
Who'd buy PSU gear from the NCAA site anyway? Or anything from that site really.
I stand corrected. At least they were pressured into putting it back up. We must have some power. Small victories, I guess.
Hell with them....don't let them profit off of you...I'd bet most fans buy from their schools website anyway, at least they should....
Right on Buckeye, thanks for the support. And the other option is to go to your local tattoo store and get signed merchandise, who needs the NCAA website?!?!
(Sorry, couldn't resist...)
This best way to piss off the NCAA is for Penn State to field a competitive team and to continue to have HUGE fan base support.
unfortunately the Tat owner is fresh out of gear......DAMN IT...
+1 ha. Robo, glad you stop by. Your stuff is always good. Cheers.
Actually, I just checked this link and now PSU is nowhere to be found on there again.
The link is working.
From Onward State - "I spoke to customer relations representative at around 10:50 a.m. She told me that she received an email saying that decision to remove Penn State apparel was “an intentional decision made by the NCAA. The NCAA pulled merchandise off its site and we will no longer carry Penn State merchandise.”
F*ck the NCAA..!! I know for some this might be a big deal, but even if it comes up or not, dont you guys dare spend a single penny on that site to buy PSU gear....... or else amma have to go zelda on all of y'all..
I will protest this (along with a giving them an implied middle finger) by wearing more psu gear. F-ers.
