Quality read.... Make a strong argument that I am sure all the lawyers are going to exploit. I liked our chances before and really like them now. I think the NCAA is about to get knocked back a few steps and put back in the place they belong.
"I tell guys, 'Would you rather go to a Volkswagen dealership to get a Cadillac, or do you go to Cadillac?' "

Lol he says this so boldly: "This admission and clear hypocrisy by Mark Emmert, all but assures that the law suit filed by the state of Pennsylvania against the NCAA seeking to dismiss the sanctions the NCAA imposed on Penn State in the wake of the criminal activity of Jerry Sandusky will almost certainly succeed."
He neglects to mention that he's not a lawyer. Per his profile his occupation is "Former art director and copywriter,.current screen and TV writer/producer- artist/political consultant"
He also doesn't know that lawsuit is one word, among many grammatical errors in the few paragraphs I could actually finish.

Either of you two gents read this yet? The lawyer in question is starting to talk a little and seems to be fighting back for the NCAA trying to seemingly push this on her. Even went as far as saying the NCAA botched the nvestigation on purpose.
Dont mean to be THAT guy but this is already posted in the PA vs. NCAA I dont know if you wanna close the thread
Interesting stuff and continues to show the growing lack of credibility of the NCAA. Thx.
I'm sure it may be and kind of apologize for the addition of a thread, but that is one thing on this board that aggrevates me. I don't have time to search through 700 posts on a topic to see if something is listed there. On TOS and TOOS they have different ways to sort thru posts to find sub-topics and discussions within a discussion thread. We need this here.
There is a search box right at the top of the screen. Quite easy to use.
I am with you sir. The only thing is some on here LOVE to be the thread police. I dont feel like sifting through pages and pages of threads.
Thank you for sharing this new thread.
By the way to all.....If you start that post by saying "I don't mean to be that guy....." STOP TYPING RIGHT AWAY, because you then become that guy.
If you know what you are searching for. If you did not know this story was published, how would you know how to search for it?
I think the issue was more that this could have been added to the existing PA Vs. NCAA thread instead of creating a new thread. If the link had already been posted in that thread, I doubt anyone would have complained.
Again, I wasn't the one who said anything about it. I just pointed out the search box, which I think people often don't notice.
Then how about we just put everything in the PSU Related Thread. That way there can be one thread we can all be in a t the same time because everything on here is actually PSU related.
Dont be a dbag just trying to help and NOT clutter up the board I left TOS because of immature guys like you
Case in point, this post is now turning into a conversation about something completely different. Had it been a relevant turn of topic how would I know to find it under the original post regardless of search? I agree that often times there are 10 different thread conversations on the same topic and like, to an extent, that they corral it to one area. However, I don't have the desire, time, or energy to search every topic for every post recorded to find interesting new info. It is one thing this site lacks is a view that breaks out threads by sub-threads like on TOOS/TOS. It would be a good addition or like another poster commented above at times it feels like there is just one big thread called PSU. It's hard to find info at times.
The search box is pretty decent if you read a post and want to find something again... Or have a specific article you want to dig up. However, as mentioned it can't help you find new info or opinion that you don't know exists.
Not trying to be anything good sir. Simply saying it is OK to the guy. Look people see something, they get excited and want to post their thoughts on it. No big deal.
Have you policed the UCF Threads yet, I see there are already 2 up there and that is just since I left and came back from spin class.
This board is awesome and much better than all the others when it comes to PSU Message Boards. The MOD's do a fantastic job of making sure things roll here.
My point is to basically let them do it and don't try to be some internet cop. If it bothers people so much, don't type anything.
They say it is to not clutter up the board but not realizing thast everytime they play police the thread jumps up.....
