looks to be center Patrick Ackerman, according to Jeff Goodman at CBS Sports. Attached is the list in which Ackerman appears. Freshman guard Akosa Maduegbunam is also on the list.
We're looking into it further.
At 100-strong, here is the first edition of the 2013 transfer list.

“We’re doing things we couldn’t imagine,” says safety Stephen Obeng-Agyapong. “But we’re doing them together.”
Thought that would happen
This makes complete and perfect sense.

If you're interested in what a scholarship matrix would look like without both players, well here you go.
Andrew, what's the deal with Akosa? I don't recall hearing his name all season, good or bad. Was he just never going to see the floor?
“We need to keep this (expletive) together,” Mauti and Zordich to Hill
Interesting. In this scenario one would imagine PC would go after two more for 2014 and forego the open ship for 2013. Unless of course he could get a grad transfer or something.
I'd say the graduate transfer route will be seriously looked at.
Makes sense. Gotta look for an experienced big to round out the squad.
Any names, Andrew or is it still too early?
Definitely still too early, players who decide to graduate and transfer start trickling out and more names pop up by the day now that the season is over for most players. Will be poking around to keep you guys in the loop though.
Word from Penn State is that there are "no official roster changes at this time."
As Andrew said, we'll keep at it.

Its also interesting to note that Talor Battle's brother, Taron Buie is transferring, yet again... seems like he just can't grow up

Didn't half of his teammates get arrested this year? Don't know anything about the situation, but that may have something to do with it
"We have a culture of integrity. That's not new at Penn State and that's not going to get old at Penn State."
Their head coach was also fired. Not that it excuses anything, just could be another reason.
Would be huge if we could get a decent big man transfer.
Tongue in cheek?
Or Sasa to stay? Honestly, that might be the best option just for the year and then 2014 has another ship like you said.
Taran Buie on the move once again
What about a guy on that list like Josh Davis from Tulane, who can play immediately? Is that a grad transfer?
Good numbers and size.
I'm actually surprised that Graham wasn't one of the two. I've said all along there would be two transfers, just thought it would be Graham and Ackerman.
With 2 leaving is it possible to reconsider Sasa's early departure? With how he came around at the end of this year it may behoove us to let him use his final yr of eligibility if we can't get anyone else. He plays his final year for some big man depth and we still have his ship to give out for the nest year..
That would be ideal but I'm not sure that we can talk him into it. My understanding is that his plan was always to play four years, graduate, turn pro, and return to Europe to play (like his brother Dejan). He might not be too anxious to risk injury.

Are you seriously asking that?
Not really, just piling onto the sarcasm, but none of it ever comes through on the internet.
