Marshall transition 3 and it's 45-43. Place is a-rockin'.
I love this team, i don't care if they win or lose. They fight.
We're tied at 48-48 wiht 7:57 left after 2 Marshall FTs.
Nice little game so far.
Sweet lob play to Travis on inbound. 50-48.
Marshall draws his fourth on offensive foul with 6:21 left. Chambers has to take him out and does.
Penn State offense has abruptly turned into D.J. Newbill shooting jumpers ... and little else ... with Marshall on bench.
Same here, gotta love their fight.
"We want the warriors"
Jackson dribbles through zone for layup. 55-52 Badgers. Lions take timeout with 3:20 left.
Jackson wiht big three.
Marshall answers with drive but Lions down 58-56 with 1:30 left.
Marshall short on 12-footer. Badgers rebound and Bruesewitz makes two wiht 33 seconds left.
Newbill layup with 25.5. 60-58.
Bruesewitz throws inbound pass away with 25 seconds left.
There's no doubt that ball was deflected by Wisconsin. Stinks that we had to blow our last timeout thanks to Ed Hightower's incompetence.
Newbill short on first attempt. Colella tracks down rebound and finds Newbill, who hits second attempt to tie it at 60-60 with 5.6 left.
Jackson appears to have hit 3 before time expired. Officials will review.
I hate march
If you're not going to pressure the inbounds play, why in the world would you not at least defend the three-point line? That was God-awful execution by Penn State.
Basket is good. 63-60 final.
Time should have ran out. Clock didn't start right away.
people wonder why the world is a miserable place
PENN STATE FOREVER
I didn't notice this, but it doesn't surprise me. The clock operator at Ohio State or Michigan would have started the clock as soon as the ball left Bruesewitz's hands on the inbounds.
I went back to rewatch it, it would have been close. Oh well.
This one hurt. First loss that really bothered me. The Nebraska loss was kinda comical, but this one felt like we got cheated a little bit.
I haven't complained about officiating all season, but the last 7:00 of this one felt like every 50/50 call went against us. A carry by DJ, travel by Marshall, charging/blocking calls. Then the deflection in the last 30 secs.
Just bad defense in the last 3 secs. Can't let the kid sprint up court in a straight line and get a good look at he basket.
Montminny was defending the 3 point line, he's just much shorter than the man shooting.
