Marshall ends what was nearly a 14 MINUTE stretch without a field goal with a 3.
Craft responds with layup and it's 27-15, 1:33 left in half.

It seems like that because we don't.
I just hope this season isn't too damaging to the young guys, so that they can improve over the offseason.
To the other guy, can't Newbill drive?
Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS
Halftime. Ohio State 29, Penn State 18.
Buckeyes cooled a bit, down to 44 percent. Lions at 29 percent.
Marshall has 10. Thompson and Thomas 7 apiece for Ohio State.
The problem w newbill is that he's not going to out quick too many guys and hes not a shooter so teams can play a step off of him.
In shoot around Taylor made 7 of 16 shots I saw ... Missing the first shot from each spot.
All were 3's ... Good to get him warmed up I guess.
If winning was easy even losers would do it.
Newbill, who had just 2 first-half points, with a nice little transition shimmy and drive for a layup.
32-20, 17:41 to play.
Taylor hits long 3. Was 0-for-5 in first half.
Thomas answers with layup. 34-23.
Ackerman connects for short jumper after feed from Newbill.
Lions showing more life at defensive end but have no answer for Thomas.
Craft limping around. Looks like he'll try to stay in game.
34-25, 15:28 left.
There's zero chance of coming back today, but I've liked Chambers' game plan today. Really neutralizing Craft and the big guys underneath have done better than I expected today on defense. This team is one or two competent shooters away from winning this game right now. There's been more than enough open looks.
Craft feeling better, I guess. Just drove right through teeth of defense for a layup.
Lions 50 percent this half (3-of-6) but already have two turnovers, as many as they had in first half.
Defense is really starting to fall apart.
True. But 28 points in 28 minutes not going to get it done in the Big Ten. Or any league, really.
Oh for sure. The real problem is whenever PSU scores a couple points, they seem to immediately give them back on defense. You can't win games that way (or at least be competitive in PSU's case).
Jack hits a two with his feet on the line in transition; probably traveled but oh well. Marshall gets a steal and draws foul at other end.
He'll go to the line for 1-and-1. Lions down 43-32 with 10:05 to play.
Buckeyes are just 9-of-29 after the opening four-minute stretch.
Still up 11, though.
Five straight for Bucks who had gone five minutes without scoring.
48-34, 7:33 left.
The fact that shot went in.....
I've watched almost every PSU hoops game over the past 3 years and this current team is borderline unwatchable. I know they are doing the best with what they got, but the way they piss away opportunity is literally painful to watch.
Season in a nutshell is that shot going in and Penn State missing layup after layup.
Lions get it back to 11, 56-45, on 3 from Colella and Marshall feed to Sasa for layup.
4:20 to play.
I'd agree with that.
I know that Pat Chambers was left with absolutely nothing, but this is pathetic. This is probably the worst shooting team I've ever seen play college basketball.
Lol at the announcers commenting on how some buckeye fans made the trip: "there are buckeye fans everywhere" as though Pennsylvania and Ohio are thousands of miles apart.
Marshall hits two free throws and juuuusst misses coming up with steal near sideline.
59-49, 2:34 left.
