SO there has been lots of chatter, but who do you think our highest rated commit will be?? Adam Breneman does not count.
Mine: Robert Foster
Hackenberg when the rankings are all said and done.

Wouldnt his ranking fall once he committed to us like every prospect ever committed to us, haha
Why wouldn't you count Breneman? And I think it'll be a surprise defensive lineman, just not sure who yet.
Just because he seems like the most obvious pick
Landing breneman, foster, hack, and dwill would be the best offensive haul I've ever sen psu pull. That said, don't expect that to happen...
Not this past year. Wendy Laurent and a couple other guys OB's staff got towards the end began as either unranked or 2* then jolted to 3* once they committed.
It happen more with the higher ranked guys. The lower ranked guys always move up when they commit to a bigger school.
Come on Hamilton, read the rules... hahaha
Hackenburg or Ryan Burns, then are the best chances IMO at this juncture
I agree with Hackenberg. I think he will really rise up the board.
I do like how a lot of our guys are sitting in that high 3 star range though. Not a lot of lower 3 star guys like last year, so far.
I just pray Hackenberg signs with us.
such a 4-star poster...
What's the difference between a high and low 3-star? Serious question.

Let me preface this by saying I don't thrive on stars, tbh. But its why I like a +/- grading scale in school. While a 89 a 80 are both B's on a flat scale, the 89 student is clearly much better. Same with recruits. If a guy is a 79 and a 3 star, is he really as good as a 89 three star (one point away from four)? Extrapolate that over a recruiting class, and you have much better quality/odds of good players and a higher class ranking, both of which are admittedly subjective.
Basically the difference between a B+ and a B-
