I didn't know that ... techincally he was 18 when he started classes at ND.
If winning was easy even losers would do it.
Clausen, When he arrived on campus to announce his commitment to Notre Dame, flashing his HS State Championship rings, while sporting a Jersey Shore style ostrich look.

don't think so. just based on what he writes, feldman doesn't seem like he's plugged into penn state. i wouldn't expect BOB to be one of his sources. just speculation though.
Hypothetically if Gunner Kiel wanted to come to PSU, I would hope BOB would at least talk to him and consider it. I mean the kid was the number 1 QB recruit in the country. I'm assuming he's got talent and if he would help PSU win I really don't care how he handled his recruitment.
Dominate The State
What you want when your looking to transfer is what the depth chart will look like when your eligible. Alot of these kids go to a school with no depth at their position but a lot can change in a year. He should find a school that has a good senior QB this year without a lot of depth. Like psu was last year.
Agreed, that's why I don't think he'll be interested in PSU. Just saying in a hypothetical situation I hope that BOB won't let something stupid like how a kid handled his recruitment with another school determine whether or not they have interest in a kid.
This! LOL! +1
"I like your head, it's a good look." - James Franklin, to a bald reporter asking a question.
"Possible landing spots could include Ball State, Miami (Ohio), Northern Illinois and Cincinnati."
So much for a Gunner Kiel era at Notre Dame (or Indiana or LSU, for that matter). [Kiel] met with the Notre Dame coaching staff [Thursday] to ask for his release and will be making his exit from Notre
Oh how the mighty have fallen.
I don't remember who it was, but someone from 247 was on the Bill King show last summer/fall (possibly JC) talking about the 2013 QBs and said that if Kiel was in that class he would have been a four star and possibly not even in the top 10. So either the 2013 class is incredibly deep or the 2012 class was incredibly weak, which would mean to me that Kiel is most likely overrated .

While there is something to be said about being the best at your position in any given year, the goal of these sites and talent evaluators is to have a grading/ranking method allows not only same-year rankings, but also the numerical grade is supposed to allow users to compare players to previous/future years. So, just because Hack was #1 QB this year, his numerical grade tells the real story--100. And Kiel was a 98. Obviously still rated too high, but there was at least some difference. Idealy, however, evaluators should rank kids where they would be whether it's a strong or a weak class at their position.
