Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS
Oklahoma is mediocre, and USC is bad.
Stop. They're both good football teams and absolutely could beat the likes of Notre Dame.
OU is above average, but they show flashes.
The more telling thing about that game IMO is that its in Norman. OU is a different team at home, and Landry plays much better there.
Wow, Agy almost blew that one.
Patton is for real though, dude is a beast. 21 catches, 200+ yards, 4TDs.
Not trying to be a dick, but this is just a clueless statement. OK and SC are two of the top 10 teams in the country, imo.
If you watched any of the red river rivalry, you saw just how dominant OK was against a top 25 team. They lost to a very good (undefeated) K State team, but this team is very dangerous. Calling them "mediocre" is just ignorant.
SC was #1 in the country for a reason -- their talent is insane. They slipped up vs Stanford, but they have been pretty good since then... doing what they have to do to get the wins. This team probably has more NFL players than any team out there. No way you can call them "bad"
ND has been the benefactor of good luck in some games this year so at too. The replays I saw are pretty hairy but seems like Stanford got shafted in the final 5 or 6 minutes of the game.
"DOMINATE the state" - James Franklin 1/11/14
Landry Jones: 31/45 career interceptions have come on the road or neutral site games.
Yup, he plays better at home.
45 INT's? In how many years? A little over 2? That's ridiculously bad.
“We need to keep this (expletive) together,” Mauti and Zordich to Hill
This is his third year starting, in an offense that throws the ball a whole hell of a lot.
But yes, Landry tends to have two or three ruhtard throws a game. Extreme talented passer though.
Just because a team has lots of talent, doesn't mean they're a good TEAM, and USC as a team is not good at all.
Oklahoma stomped on a bad football team yesterday. I watched that whole game. Texas isn't good, and Mack Brown is probably getting fired this year.
Maybe instead of reading stat sheets and seeing how the clueless media ranks the teams, you should actually watch the games with your own eyes instead of just being a sheep and following every word you read on ESPN.
"Could" and "should" are two very different words with different meanings.
Who would you rank ahead of OU?
I don't disagree that they aren't that good, but this is a terrible year for CFB in terms of quality. There aren't many good teams out there, ND included.
