I would love to know what mark emmert gives you to participate in the donkey shows with him.
Answer: "Because I'm an NFL caliber coach who can outcoach everyone else recruiting your son."
Not just PSU....most powerful in PA, just like the NCAA wanted
Probably gonna have to wait a bit on that. News broke that he was staying just now. Contract/negotiation details don't come out for a little while after.
I think about a 3rd of the people on the board are this guy.......
It was not about the money. That was taken care of a while ago. (God bless hockey) sticking point was not money related
This has all been very traumatic--they may need to see the world's first and only analrapist.
“We’re doing things we couldn’t imagine,” says safety Stephen Obeng-Agyapong. “But we’re doing them together.”
By the balls...you mean no offer in hand? 18 million hanging over his head? The only time you have your employer by the balls is if you actually have that other offer. I must have missed the part where Cleveland offered him the job. 4 hours after the report of his interview being leaked and he is all PSU again. I love PSU and hope they win a ton of games, but I don't buy what some are selling here. I've never walked into anyones office after an interview and demanded crap without a written offer in hand. This leverage he had must have been a legal piece of information in his contract or something because a 8 win coach in his first year with an 18 million buyout is not the spitting image of leverage. To us the fans who think he is a good coach...maybe that is the case, but I'm not seeing this from a business or even common sense stand point. More like he interviewed, didn't have an offer yet, info got leaked and he is all in with PSU as he has to be one month out from LOI with no offer in hand.
"One man didn't build this program and one man sure as hell cannot tear it down."
i think there was a joke buried in there that Tobias is an albino black man. hoping they pay that one off.
Still got to wonder if the buyout was a huge stumbling block.
Out with it
"Whoever’s trying to kill me isn’t getting the job done. But one day, I’m going to punch that f___r in the face."
"Whoever’s trying to kill me isn’t getting the job done. But one day, I’m going to punch that f*cker in the face."
That's right, I saw that on reddit a few months back. There were a few things throughout the show that hint to that.
"god bless hockey"... Clever sir.
F the NCAA
F the BOT
You do realize PSU would have been notified of his interviews, right? They weren't aware because of a leak. And you should threaten to walk without a job offer in hand sometime. I got a $20K raise that way.
It was tacos. The tough part was that he demanded fresh Jack in the Box tacos, but there aren't any franchises out east.
I guess they will be placing one in the HUB now, maybe replacing Chick-Fil-A
You son of a bitch, first bringing up tacos, now JitB tacos? There isn't a JitB for like over an hour and a half one way drive. Shit.
I'm on the verge of tears. I'm so happy and relieved.
I'm glad OB won't lie down and be the administrators bitch. He showed them that he will push the envelope. If Dave Joyner were smart and savy he'd be patting himself on the back right now, because he just got more confirmation that the coach he hired was and is the exact right hire
Pegula bought in to the company, and he'll be building the first location in Spanier's former mansion.
If it makes you feel any better, I don't think I have any that are even that close by plane for me.
