Hill, Hodges, Mauti and Stankiewitch.

My guesses - Hill goes in the 2nd, Hodges in the 4th, Mauti in the 6th or 7th, Stank in the 7th or as an UDFA.
If Mauti had not have gotten injured, I'd say he'd have definitely been a 2nd rounder.
"A bowl game ain't nothing but a vacation." - Gerald Hodges
Hodges no later than third, and stank gets snatched up in fifth because of mcwhorters history of producing NFL lineman. Mauti depends on how he shows at the combine.
And they call you homer......;-)
I think Jordan Hill's size will push him back a little bit.
I think Hodges and Hill go in the 4th round as of now. I think Hodges could sneak up into the 3rd round if he has a good combine and pro day. I agree Mauti will probably go 6-7 round but someone may take a chance maybe in the 5th round if they absolutely love him. And I also agree on Stank.
I think the success of Geno Atkins this year may actually help hill in the draft. They are the same exact size

Disappointed no invite for Zordich.
anyone think bowmans success could help out hodges?
I honestly think these guys skills will show through and they wont need that Bowman/Lee/etc/etc success to help them, though it doesnt hurt. :)

Hodges seems like a steal any later than the 2nd.
I wonder if Hodges will be hurt by his unusual behavior at the East-West Shrine. He had a good week of practice and then up and left before the game (and without explanation).
The explanation I read that week was that he had a minor injury in practice.
Hill had a very good week of practice at the senior bowl, and that, combined with his production on the field should land him mid-to-late 2nd or early 3rd(providing he doesn't shit the bed at the combine).
I love the optimism bro, but unless the kid has the most unreal combine in the history of the event, he's not going in the 2nd. He could sneak into the 3rd, but I still see him as a 4th rounder.
Don't forget, his size will limit him to WILL backer in a 4-3 scheme, and there are a few other backers of his type that will go before him. Also, the la k of scheme diversity could hurt him a bit. He's not a true sideline-to-sideline backer, and could really improve his ability to set the edge when he's over or outside the tackle.
Although Atkins has unbelievable upper body strength.
As talked about in the article, there were times Jordan showed up at practice and other times he didn't, so you can't say he had a very good week of practice. However, he did have an excellent game and that should help. I still think as of today he is a fourth rounder, maybe third. I do expect his stock to rise though after the combine. I think he has potential to climb to the second round, but if the draft were today I don't think so.
Stank in the 5th? I don't even think Braxton Cave goes in the 5th, and I think he's a better overall prospect. Brian Schwenke is a great C/G prospect, and I think he may be a late 4th - 5th round guy.
The games really mean nothing. Many of the Scout leave after Thursday. I know 2 guys who went down for the week to cover the event, one was from the site I write for, and I was in contact with them all week. I specifically asked one to keep an eye on Hill for me, and he said himself, as well as many scouts he talked to all came away impressed. He said he definitely helped his stock.

I do believe he helped his stock, but I just don't see the second round happening quite yet. A very productive combine could help a lot though.
Maybe not. It is a very deep DT draft. We'll have to see.
Yeah that's another thing...appreciate your input though. I hope your right, and I'm wrong! Jordan was one of my favorite players this year. I think he'll be successful in the NFL regardless where he goes.

This is just another example of how crazy the evaluation process is. There wasn't one website that covered that week of practice that had anything positive to say about Hill. The one that bothered to mention him said he struggled. But then there's your take from the people you knew who were there. And you'll see the same thing happen come the combine. There's rarely a consensus outside of the elite level players.
I am glad they get to go!!! i hope they do well. The draft is so crazy and seems to depend on the combine a little too much at times. I think Hodges, Mauti, Hill and Stank will be picked up in that order. I think we are looking at rd 3-4 for Hodges, 4-6 for Mauti, 4-7 for Hill and Stank in the 7th. If Mauti wasn't hurt he would be higher, but there is always apprehension with injuries. Hill is a little light and did not seperate in practices at the Senior Bowl. He seemed to do decent in the game but wasn't quite as penetrating. And the premium on Cs is only based on need. Though I think he definitely is better than a couple of guys ranked above him. He did nice in the Shrine game.

I can see Hodges going late 2nd early 3rd round. I think he will beast mode the combine showing off his lateral speed and burst. Mauti before injury was a lock in the late 2nd. Now though with his injury history I can't see him going around late 4th early 5th. I really hope his combine shows no signs of his injury and he can test out. While I love Hill and his playing ability his size and it being a really deep draft at DT is going to slip him into the 3rd or 4th round. Centers don't go really high in draft boards so if Stank is lucky he will be a 6th or 7th round, but I can see him going undrafted and signing right away with a team.
I feel like Z will also be an undrafted player as well but get signed right away. That kid bleeds football.
'Respect All Fear None."
I don't think Mauti will be a full go at the combine. I believe he'll interview, get weighed and measured, then that will be about it.
I think you're right. With them being so quiet about his injury I can't see him doing any of the workouts. If I were him (and that's a stretch) I would either partake in all the events, or partake in none of them. On a side note when is Sr's day or pro day held this year?
Pro Day is typically held the second week of March. It will most likely be the 12th or 13th.
