Warning: Do not watch for at least 30 minutes after you last meal. Thank you
Too late. I just had to pull over.
In all seriousness, that honestly ruined a very good day.
I mean that with 100% sincerity. It is freaking criminal to have this guy as the President of my school.
Like, if that video was the first exposure to humanity than an alien race experienced, they would rightfully blow up the whole damn planet.

Oh hot rod.........
Another glaring problem that I see come up more and more is that our BoT is mostly comprised of CEO's and high level business management folks. That's all fine and good, I suppose, if they had a pulse on actually taking care of matters actually pertinent to the University and what the University is for....eduction. I don't see many, if any at all, of the folks on the board with a background in education that comprehend the bigger picture of what they should be nominated on the BoT to do pertaining to the quality of education at PSU, the price of school, etc.
"DOMINATE the state" - James Franklin 1/11/14
They were all reacting to the situation not as Board members but as what consequences would their company suffer.
It's called CYA and avoid lawsuits all at costs. Damage control....etc......etc.
Ya I know. Doesn't make it right.
He didn't even answer 3/4’s of the questions.. He just started talking about what he wanted totally about?
Wish the senator would have followed up and demand an answer...
Rod is a complete POS. It really is debatable which one of the two (Rod or Sandusky) has done more damage to the reputation of Penn State. As far as I'm concerned, may they both rot in hell.
I guess we found THE WORST UNIVERSITY PRESIDENT IN THE WORLD.
PENN STATE FOREVER
LOL, but in all fairness what does anybody expect from this sap?. He is a well paid puppet of the BOT, compensated nicely to take the public slings and arrows that deserve to be aimed at the cowards hiding in the shadows. Rodney is hopeless and in well over his head, but what does he care? He retires in a year and will ride off into the suset collecting his ridiculous pension.
Seriously, the presidents of Lock Haven, IUP, etc. all must have been laughing their asses off under their breath.... While in a simultaneous state of bewilderment as to just how in the hell that guy is the freaking President of Penn freaking State.
For those interested in puking. There is an article up on Penn Live in which Corman grills him. Sorry I can't link from my phone.
Damn I wish I hadn't watched it.
Now I have to go buy a new computer and smashing the hell out of that moron.
gas station gas pumpers cannot believe it
It's linked in the orginal post, I believe?
Best part for me was the following exchange that I was kind of dissapointed didn't lead to a follow up. I am not exact on this but it was something like this:
Q: Can you tell me if it is common place for the NCAA to use an internal investigation as the basis to hand down penalties.
Rodney Roo-Roo: It is very common for a University to have an internal investigation.
Disapointed that there was no follow up asking him to actually answer the question.
Second was this:
Q: Basically asking what the Presidents thought about not being voting members of the BOT. Rodney boy answers with a resounding, no I wouldn't have a problem with it. Well no shit rod you are gone in a year. The question was to ask you what you thought about presidents not serving not if you weren't a voting member.
My gosh, the more I hear Rodney talk the more I don't blame Emmert for going at this Doofus, it was a lay-up and Emmert knew he was going to sign anything.
Yeah I wish that had a video. I would love to see Hot Rods reaction. I love my school but I wish the state would just withhold funding until most BOT members resign.
I guess we know which doofas is smarter.
Yea, this guy could fight up a wet dream.
Every time I see or reading anything about Hot Rod I just remember him getting booed at Beaver Stadium. It was a tremendous showing by the Penn State community.

Somebody needs to get him a glass of water
Couldn't have said it better than this. This is the reality of this man and situation.
"I like your head, it's a good look." - James Franklin, to a bald reporter asking a question.
I liked this comment by Corman:
"I guess I wish you would have taken that same position prior to the (release of the) report, which has been used not only to punish Penn State" but to frame the public narrative of the case.
It was definitely a nice subtle parting shot. Problem is I dont think Rod cares what he did to the school.
BacardiBuckeye: "But in all honesty I like Penn State, I want to see Penn State do good that's why I check this board everyday." 4/2/14
At best Rodney is out of touch with the issues and has never defended the university
He has been totally shown up by a 4 feet 11 inch munchkin president of the university of Miami Shalala
