diagnosed with stress fracture in right foot and is likely out for remainder of season, per Penn State.
Jack, a 6-foot-9 freshman forward, had been averaging 1.7 points and 1.0 rebounds in 6.6 minutes per game this season. He had scored only 9 points in eight conference games and did not see action in any of the last three contests.

Too bad for him.
You could tell he just wasn't ready when he was out on the floor, but missing that much practice time has to hurt. Hopefully he rehabs well and gets back ASAP.
Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS
Is a medical redshirt possible since he played so little this season? If they wanted to go that route.
He has to have played fewer than 20 percent of the team's games that season to qualify, and Jack has already played in 17.
BTW he has a brother at Berks Catholic. a 6'6"soph.
I really liked watching him develop through the OOC schedule, but he looked totally overmatched once B1G play started.
Hopefully, he heals up quick and adds some strength to go with his skills.
The kid to watch at berks catholic is nana foulland.
They play McDevitt in D-3 playoffs on Friday at 5:00pm at the Giant Center. Both teams won tonight.
I hope he recovers well ... stress fractures almost seem to be worse than a break at times.
Obviously it'd be nice if this happened in another couple weeks for him (if it had to happen), but he should be back and really he didn't miss much for the season.
Hopefully his upper body gets jacked up a bit.
If winning was easy even losers would do it.
And another brother in 6th grade. Conner (at BC) is a nice player and has really improved a lot in the past season. Don't know how big DJ was as a Soph, but Conner may catch up to DJ. DJ is a great kid with a very level-head and it was a bit disappointing that he didn't get more minutes, even though the team was sucking it up. Maybe this is why? He would have a productive outing and then would disappear for 1-2 games. I can understand that if the team is playing well, but, ummmm, that was not the case.
That's not quite accurate. It's 30% not 20%. Still Jack is way over the number.
