awesome new database by College Hockey Inc. No shortage of filters here, can sort by class, time of goal and much more.
Bringing it back to Penn State, forwards David Glen and Casey Bailey are both tied for 8th in the country in freshman scorers, both with 19 points.
Take a look around if you're interested.
This is awesome.
Talked to a hockey player the other day, and he said the future is very bright for PSU.
Told me the team (as in the serious talents and contributors) is very young, and plays like it (plays to the level of competition). Said two guys on the squad now are going to see time in the Show, and Gadowsky will have the team competing for B1G titles sooner rather than later.
He's biased, obviously, but his evaluations of guys had been pretty realistic when I spoke to him in the past.
Hopefully Gadowsky can build here what he's built in other places. We certainly have the facilities.
Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS
That's a really sweet website, Andrew. Thanks for sharing with us. Great to see some of the younger talent on our team be ranked at the top in a category or two.
@Texas - that's pretty sweet. I think we all know PSU has the resources necessary to be an elite hockey program in due time. Really can't wait to see what the future holds once the new arena is built and when we are playing in B1G.

went to the game with a hockey nut, a puckhead if you will.
he was very impressed. said for a first year program he didnt expect that much. Thinks our goalie is NHL caliber in a few years
Skoff is the real deal. He was a little jittery in goal earlier in the year but he was lights-out against Vermont. I expect big things from him over the next few years.
The kid coming in next year, Eamon McAdam, is going to compete for the starting job from day 1. He's very, very good.
That's right, I remember you posting that article from the TYT blog about how he projected for the draft. Almost completely forgot about him. Looks like goal tending should be a strength in the near future.
Both are originally from Pa. too - Skoff from Pittsburgh area, McAdam from Philly area.
McAdam should get drafted this year.
While I am encouraged and excited by their play so far, the BIG will be a wole new beast. Sure, we beat OSU who isn't very good this year, and have a grat shotbto at least spit with MSU this weekend. With that said Wisconsin and Minny are in a different class all together. Wiscy at the end of the yr should demonstrate that for us. In a number of years I think that we can build this program up to a competetive level, but it will take some good recruiting and some years of success to bring in bigger recruits. We did it in volleyball, so it can be done, but at the same time we don't have other traditional powerhouses in our conference for voleyball (except maybe Nebraska now for the women). I mean, Wisconsin and Minnesota are scary good, perrenial top ten programs. I am optomistic, but trying to keep grounded. Right now our RPI is like 51. Rome wasn't built in a day, but we do have a promising foundation.
