It's long but good.
Jim Clemente (retired FBI and current Criminal Minds writer/producer) goes in depth on the case of Jerry Sandusky and the extent of Joe Paterno's involvement in any cover-up. Confirming guilt is very tricky in sex abuse cases, and Jim discusses the factors that enable some predators to abuse for years.
Jim Clemente is a retired FBI agent and current advisor, writer and producer for the TV series "Criminal Minds." A graduate of Fordham University School of Law, Jim was the head of the Child Sex Crimes Prosecution Team in Bronx County for the New York City Law Department. As a result of undercover work that led to the imprisonment of a child sex offender, Clemente was recruited into the FBI. From 1998 until October 2009 he was a Supervisory Special Agent in the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit in Quantico, Virginia. He is an expert in the fields of Sex Crimes Investigations, Sex Offender Behavior, Child Sexual Victimization, and Child Pornography. Clemente has investigated and consulted on thousands of cases involving the violent and sexual crimes, sexual victimization of children, and he has interviewed hundreds of victims and offenders. He has also testified as an expert witness and lectured on these topics across the country and around the world.
That's what she said.
Jetta, good find! I gotta imagine him as a defense witness in the 3 trials. I would imagine if PA suit were ever go to trial, he would be there also.
Thank God for Jim Clemente. Please watch this and read his report. If people really want to stop the next Sandusky, they need to heed his advice. It does such a disservice to the victims to say this is a once in a lifetime cover-up. No, it's far more difficult to uncover nice-guy predators and God willing, Clemente's message will begin to sink in.
"You can take bowl games and you can take external things from people, but you can't take a warrior's heart."
After reading the report and watching Clemente speak, it made me look back in retrospect at my life and made me wonder about a guidance counselor at my school. It makes me really wonder if he was a nice guy predator. Nothing ever happened to me, but the signs point to what Clemente said.
I think this makes all of us think back to people that have crossed our paths and makes us wonder. Clemente should be on tour promoting this to associations, schools, groups etc. It changes perspectives. He is a sharp individual who has a huge message.
I remember finding out not long after the Sandusky stuff hit, that my high school shop teacher was arrested for molesting a boy. Guy was a little strange, but I would have never thought that at the time, but now if I really think back, I could see some of his behavior triggering an alarm.
Another interesting thing I found out about Clemente, is that he was one of the whistle-blowers at Gitmo.
The Witness to Guantanamo (W2G) project is undertaking the historic mission of conducting in-depth, filmed interviews with former detainees and other witnesses from the Guantanamo Bay Detention Center, putting a human face on the men held at the prison.
The lady needed to shut up and let him talk more, because she was retarded. But yeah, hes the man... Very awesome too that he has no ties to PSU or the family... Anyone that asks about his bias only needs to know that, and that he's made it his lifes work to stop child predators after being a victim himself. People like Giger that say there is no value at all in the report need to listen and shut up. Im becoming a fan of Clemente... Good stuff.
WE ARE! And we will always be...
I haven't seen this posted on this site. (If it is, I'm sorry) This is another really worthwhile interview. These are the first realistic commentaries that I have heard. The tide may be begining to turn!

Giger is the King of the idiots.
Well, she is a lawyer, albeit an entertainment one.
The one thing I liked was that she was asking the same questions/making the same assertions that you hear over and over again from people who have primarily gotten their information from mainstream media. No one can claim this was a propaganda piece by the Paternos, or that this was a "softball" interview by Katie Couric.
She kept asking the same damn Q, he'd answer it, and then she'd say "I dont understand" and he would explain it again. She's terrible. I don't care if she was a judge. She's horrible.
Thanks, just posted the link on Facebook.
While I agree that as an interviewer she was terrible, in terms of the general populace, she basically said and asked things that I have heard everytime I talked to someone about this, and up here people generally knew nothing about PSU, Paterno or anything else other than what the media fed them. In terms of trying to get the message across to the masses, this is actually something that I think might play. Appeals to those that just can't get it - argue on emotion instead of fact or logic. It might be a case of terrible interviewing bringing the debate down to basic facts that the general public can understand which can only help.
All in all Clemente makes excellent points that I wish more media outlets would pick up on and challenge people to question the adults closest to their kids.
Giger carries no weight in any discussion. He's a little troll who would wilt and cower in teh face of the people he so matter of fact and boldly rips on the radio. Jay would bitch slap him something awful in a debate on this, let alone how stupid a guy like Clemente would make him look.....not that he doesn't do a good enough job on his own of looking and sounding stupid
I am sure I'll get ripped for being too PC, but in 2013, do you really still need to be calling people "retarded" for doing something you find "horrible?" There are much better, much less offensive ways to say things.
Off my soapbox. Thanks.
Really what? You are somehow unaware that this is offensive? Or you don't care?
I haven't heard anyone call that offensive since I was like 7... I didn't mean it as offensive. I was obviously pissed at how dumb that woman was. Dumb could be considered a derogatory term as well. Anyone else took offense?
Clemente is freaking awesome.
Thanks man. +1
Right? I hope he does some radio... Like Jay did. I'd love to see Golic get all messed up trying to ask dumb Q's
Or cowturd or Geiger or SVP or,or...
He may be already too well known for one of the national guys to do it, their assistants and researchers will have already warned them off of bringing someone who will make them foolish onto the show....remember it only took about 2 weeks for a local radio guy in Missouri to start having trouble getting the, what I will call intentionally ignorant..as the information is available for study, on the show.
