“We’re doing things we couldn’t imagine,” says safety Stephen Obeng-Agyapong. “But we’re doing them together.”
didn't he say he was coming back to Oregon....WOW, unreal. Any Oregon commits that are on east coast we can go after?? ha
Chris Mortensen @mortreport
Chip Kelly is the new coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, according to league sources. No announcement yet.

First minte kiffen, now chip Kelly, awful hires by the NFC east.
“If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.” ― Haruki Murakami
We got the only kid that had mutual Oregon and PSU interest, Issah.
I bet Kelly saw Kiffin was going to be in the NFC East and was like okkk, I could put up 50 on him 2x a year.

Per @mortreport & @Jeff_McLane, Chip Kelly is the new Eagles coach after all. Notable that O'Brien announced he was staying but Chip did not
It says that he didn't announce he was saying but i thought on Jan 6th he did say he was staying at Oregon.
lol, i bet Monte is shitting in his diapers right now.
Chip never actually said anything personally. Though, I cannot imagine people at Oregon are happy at all right now. Unless he always knew this was the plan and went back to assist in a change over before he made it official.
I was preparing myself for Ken Whisenhunt so this news could not make me more happy.
who will Oregon get as the coach, such last minute, before signing day? I think you have to hire someone internal.
Wow? I'm, WTF?
I wonder what the Eagles threw at him to sway his decision. Had to be a BOAT LOAD of money.

If I am remembering correctly, Oregon said they'd promote their OC, Mark Helfrich, if Chip left.
I guess Phil didn't dig enough change out of his couch to satisfy him.

I believe they lined up their offensive coordinator Mark Helfich to take over in the event Kelly did leave.
Wow... (bet nobody's said that before)
"We want the warriors"
Just as a reference...given the amount of BOB buyout talk there was before, I had been wondering what Chip Kelly's buyout was. Especially after someone mentioned he had 5 years left on his deal.
Turns out it was around $3m. Decent amount less than BOB's (even if you use the lower figure). And apparently not really a hindrance.
Lol, Chip Kelly breaking out an awesome read-option play on the media, leading them one way and then completely bamboozling them going the other way.

However, the one prospect I'd love to have is Darren Carrington. I remember Penn State showed interest around the time he blew up, but PSU never offered and we never heard anything about him after that.
.He must be following in the footsteps of Pete Carroll......NCAA will soon be knocking on Oregon's door.
Pretty exciting news !!!
Wonder if this means Vick will be back.
Real question is... What happens to Oregon football over the next five years? Have they established themseleves as an eliete program, therefore allowing them to continue being one of the top programs? Or, will they fall back to average status?
+1 Carrington is my favorite 2013 WR !
Phil Knight will keep them at bay. "So, Mr. Emmert, how many Nike Swooshes can you see any given Saturday?"
