I haven't seen Rutgers play, but this is a huge game for Temple and could make a big statement in regards to the direction of Temple's program.
20 to 30%
This would be a great game for them (Buttgers) to drown their sorrows in.
I havent seen Rutgers play...i know who they played though...and still cant figure out why they are ranked so high......just weird
Only ranked that high because they are undefeated...With that said I think this game is a coin flip game, but hoping temple get the W
Would LOVE for Temple to beat Rutgers, but I doubt that it happens.
Rutgers has no offense. I saw them play, the only reason they won the game I saw was because of the other teams turnovers and the other teams lacks of offense. They have been close in almost all games.
I'm going to the game. Praying rutgers loses
"We have a culture of integrity. That's not new at Penn State and that's not going to get old at Penn State."
So the best team in PA beats the best team in NJ?
I hope Temple can pull the upset but it won't be easy.

Beating Rutgers doesn't make any statement for any program.
Rutgers will shut Temple's offense down. The only way they win is if Rutgers beats themselves.
If PSU played Rutgers on a neutral site, what are the score predictions?
More than just football
It does if you're Temple and you beat the 15th ranked team in the country.
Rutgers has a good defense, but they have been susceptible to the pass (which is surprising because they do have good talent in the secondary). Just like under Schiano, they blitz a lot. They are very good against the run.
The offense on the other hand is not very good at all. Thye rank 99th in yards per game playing the 111th hardest schedule according to Saragin (they were 126th the prior week). They have a solid running back in Jamison, but the OL is still mediocre and Gary Nova is not ready to be a big time QB. Their WRs all have elite size with really good speed, but collectively they drop the ball a lot and run poor routes.
PSU would win, 24-10. JMO.
Whatever happened to Savon Huggins? Does he play at all? Man the Wig thought that kid was the sh*T...
This^...and Tom Savage too?
