Ha-wha? How relevant is Providence's program for those that follow hoops closer than I?

Well, they do have schollies available ...

Wow...what a disappointment. I thought one of the main reasons he decommitted was better bball programs were starting to recruit him alot more. I could understand UConn or Texas but Providence? Great get for Providence but I'm baffled by this
I was just in Prov for work training. PC is in a dumpy ass area. Cooley doesn't seem straight. Ricard Ledo was and is bad news and isn't even helping them.
Wha-wha-what?!?!? WTH Austin?
I live just south of Providence and PC is in a pretty dumpy area. There are worse areas around the city and the area right around campus isn't too bad, but it's sure a strange pick for a philly kid that had plenty of options.
Austin has some other issues, I think.
“We’re doing things we couldn’t imagine,” says safety Stephen Obeng-Agyapong. “But we’re doing them together.”
Not sure how PC is doing it but last year they brought in 2 5 star players and 2 3 star players. Scout had their 2012 class ranked number 10 and rivals had it ranked number 8. Not sure what is in the water up there but there must be something.
WTF? Providence? Really??? Good luck in the Big East... Well whatever will be left of it...
WE ARE! And we will always be...
Big East is still a good BBall conference regardless of football. They'll be fine with schools like providence, seton hall, st johns, villanova, marquette, and GTown because they haven't gotten involved with big time money making football. Them on top of Cincy, Temple, UConn (for now), and LVille (for now). Maybe their best teams aren't as good as the best B1G teams, but the conference as a whole is as deep as any other.
Edit: forgot to hit "Quote" on rmj's post.

That's true, but at the rate things are going, there isn't much stability in the conference- that's from Andy Katz... I am looking forward to seeing it implode.
Gotta be something going on here...just saw earlier that he was choosing between UCONN and Texas.
