Lions247 tailgate spot will be ready to go. Spot picked out and will be good for dry or wet weather. Kid friendly as well as adult friendly

One of the best days of the year!
No promises I make it in to the stadium, but its still great to get that gameday feel in Spring. Masses of fans in jerseys walking through campus and downtown, tailgating at the crack of dawn, warm weather... can't beat it
Really. I'm having withdrawal symptoms already. That's why I'm back on here.

Is this set in stone yet?

Will be a good warm weekend to take the RV out for a spin and charge the batteries. Also going to update my sound system and take inventory on the liquor cabinet :)
April 20 is right around the corner!
It's the day after mine.
Will be my 1st year attending the 247 TG...anything we need to bring/be aware of?

This is a quality post, and more people need to acknowledge it.

Funny thing happened on our way to the Blue/White game 2013, my 8 year old daughter informed me on Monday that she wants to upgrade from the B/W game to a real game this fall. As she put it "I want to go to a real game where I can actually cheer for Penn State and not at a practice." We have been taking our children to the last 4 B/W games and it is nice to see that she is ready for the full experience.
If we do make it to the B/W game, is any PSU 247 member allowed to meet up at the TG? It would be nice to meet the staff writers and put faces to some of the people that post here.
since i just moved to PA a few months ago and i didn't make it up for a game last fall, Im gunna try to make it up this year, weather permitting
All are welcome at the tailgate. We would prefer that you announce your intentions to do so when Seltz and my dad put up the tailgate thread sometime this spring just so we have an idea of how many will be stopping by, but all are definitely welcome. The more the merrier.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- The dates for one of the highlights of the Penn State sports calendar, Blue-White Weekend, have been set for 2013.
Blue-White Weekend will be held April 19-21, 2013, with the Blue-White football game on Saturday, April 20 as the centerpiece for numerous activities throughout the weekend in and around Beaver Stadium.
Numerous events are held during Blue-White Weekend, including a carnival, fireworks, food vendors, live music and performances at the student entertainment stage, in addition to other Penn State athletic events.
The Nittany Lion Club will host its Blue-White Event on April 20, 2013 before the game. The NLC breakfast event features Coach Bill O'Brien and the Nittany Lion seniors and drew more than 1,300 to the Bryce Jordan Center this past April.
And one week after mine. May have to check the legislature's schedule, could be a good time to get out to Central PA.
