What number is he?
21 in red. I'm watching online. Looking forward to it.
For those wondering, he's talking about 2014 Penn State basketball commit Isaiah Washington from Williamsport. They are playing National No. 20 Chester and Rondae Jefferson, a 2013 top-20 recruit going to Arizona. 2nd round of the PIAA AAAA state tournament.
I'm watching online at the link below.

Chester is up 16-15 after the 1st quarter.
End of the first quarter Washington with 2 points. Chester put Jefferson on Isaiah right away. Jefferson is a man child. Dude is just huge. #5 for Williamsport has been good so far and the big guy for Williamsport also. Big guy from Williamsport is going to Navy. Score is 16-15 Williamsport.
The natives out here in Tucson are starting to get a little restless with Sean Miller. Getting close to the "great recruiter, not so great bench coach" label after the team took a nosedive the second half of the season. Andrew, did Chambers ever recruit Jefferson?
“We need to keep this (expletive) together,” Mauti and Zordich to Hill
My buddy is a big U of A fan and said the same thing recently in regards to Miller. Jefferson was on the radar but when I spoke with him in about April of last year it was pretty clear he wasn't interested.
31-25 Chester at the half. Think Washington has four points but I could be wrong.
Shame to hear that.
Sean's grandad/dad built my parents garage. I remember Sean (around 8 years old) running around my back yard and shooting baskets with him. Good people.
Jefferson just got 1,000 career points. Stopped the game and he gave the ball to his mom. Pretty cool moment. Washington has 4 points and has been quiet so far. HOLY SHIT WASHINGTON JUST DUNKED ON SOMEONE!!!!!!
I left with about 2 minutes and 30 seconds left, Chester was winning by like 10. Williamsport offense pretty much went through one person and it wasn't Washington. Washington has a sweet jumper and can jump out the building. He actually took the opening tip and beat out that Jefferson kid although it didn't look like Jefferson tried too hard. Whoever was on Washington, which was mostly Jefferson (who is 6'7), was just in Washington's face the whole time. They were almost face guarding him the entire time. Another guy from Chester who guarded Washington was all over him. It was hard for Washington to get the ball and especially since the offense never really went through him. It should be his team next year and I think he will be a good addition to Penn State. He's still skinny and will definitely need to add some weight but the kid plays hard, he's a team player.
Appreciate the writeup Bedford, the stream I was watching was in and out. I wrote about him taking the jump last year when he committed, his vertical is impressive. Still a junior so he's got another year to develop his game, although I thought he would have been more involved in the offense. He's consistently put up numbers throughout the year so it might very well be a result of having a much larger player in Jefferson guarding him.
Chester is a great team but I thought Williamsport competed quite well.
Video of the aforementioned alley-oop dunk by Washington. You can skip to 15 seconds in.
psujmc you live out near Tucson? I used to live about 60 mins south of there. My wife still has a ton of family in Tucson. We loved it out there and would love to go back eventually.
'Respect All Fear None."
Been in Tucson 9 years and will probably retire here. Were you stationed at Fort Huachuca?
Wow, that kid can jump out of the gym.
Who won the game? How'd Washington finish up?
Both DeChellis and Chambers recruited Jefferson. He may have cooled on us at some point, but we did have his interest once.

Right, which is why I said he was 'on the radar.'
The school he committed to isn't even on that list. Must have been wayyyy early.
In my mind at least, when someone is "on the radar", it simply means that we are interested in him. It says nothing about whether that interest is mutual or not. From that perspective, your post read like he never had any interest in us and I wanted to make it clear that wasn't true.
