I was really hoping that Luck ran ahead of Avery to deliver the game winning block there. That would have been incredible.
I think that's what Luck was thinking too until he realized it wasn't needed
Yea, he's good.
“We’re doing things we couldn’t imagine,” says safety Stephen Obeng-Agyapong. “But we’re doing them together.”
He's damn good but the Lions are so good at losing in the grasp of victory it's amazing
Luck is amazing. The NFL has a bright future with guys like him and RG3 and some of the other young QB's that are playing well.
"DOMINATE the state" - James Franklin 1/11/14
Goddamn CBS kicked me off with a minute left in the game. I'm pissed
He's making the case for ROY... I wanna see what RGIII does today. They keep duking it out.
WE ARE! And we will always be...
ROY voting will come down to whether you value stats or wins more. The choice is obvious if the latter is the case
I don't think he would have made it, but he is good. Maybe the Eagles can trade their team for him.
We don't want your team.
Yea no one does.
not even the eagles want their team
I would still likely vote for RG3,but it is getting close.
Is that you joe Montana?... Nope just Andrew luck
i hate Cowherd, but he made an interesting tweet.
Something along the lines that Newton is 2-18 with a 4th quarter deficit. Andrew Luck is now 5-1...or something like that.

It was a funny play because you always here the "He didn't throw it into the end zone / past the line of scrimmage" argument when you dump a pass off. But on the final play defenders can be so focused on the guys in the end zone that they don't notice the lane for the dump. The Lions had 3 guys in the middle of the field at the goal line that couldn't get across the field to Avery in time.
RG3 is on Monday night

There are 5 pretty impressive 1st or 2nd year QBs in the NFL right now:
Kap(although there not too much on him just yet - I think he's going to be good though)
I rank them in this order
Understatement of the year =(
umm take out Newton and put in Russell Wilson.
cat led a 97 yard drive and an 80 yard game winning drive in chicago vs one the best defenses in the league on the road
Russel Wilson has killed it the past like two months as well. 13th in DYAR on the season and 12th in total QBR (higher than Cam and Dalton in both). And that was before his game today.

Yes, I agree. He has improved quite a bit. He's cut down on those turnovers. The biggest disappointment to me has been Ryan Tannehill. I didn't think he was anywhere near worthy of a high first round pick. He's looked pretty bad so far this year, and all this while having his former HC as his offensive coordinator(meaning he's running a similar offense to the one he ran in college).
Is it really? It isn't like the Redskins are any slouch...we'll have to see what they do down the stretch, but what if both teams make the playoffs? I don't think anyone can complain if either win.
I'd say it is because the Colts won 2 games last year to the Skins' 5. Colts have 8 now to Skins' 5. I'd say it's pretty obvious who wins the award if it's just based on wins at this point. I think that's a bad way to pick the award, but I think it's pretty obvious as well.
I believe the award should go to a combination of wins, stats, and who is more valuable to their team. Both Luck and RG3 are extremely valuable to their teams, but the records of both QB's don't tell the wole story. The Redskins lost 3 game because of their defense, after RG3 led them from behind, and either gave them the lead, or put them in a position to win. The Ginats game was a great example of this. Complete blown coverage at the very end of the game, which if Cruz is just tackled for a minimal gain, the Skins prob win that game. Rams game, late in the 4th QTR, RG3 drives his team to within easy field goal range, then Josh Morgan get hit with a 15 yard personal foul for his altercation with Finnigan. Field goal try to win the game from almost 60 yards is no good - Skins lose. The Redskins defense(and entire team for that matter) has seen the most injuries to key starters in the NFL(Orakpo, Carriker, Meriweather Jackson(suspension), Garcon(now he's back), Brown, Helu, Griffin, Robinson) If it wasn't for this, they would easily be over .500 right now. Skins are ranked 31st in the NFL giving up over 301 yards per game in the air.
Also, take into account that Luck has thrown the ball 200 more times than Griffin. He only has a 55% completion percentage, with 17 TD's vs. 16 INt's. His QB rating is 76.1. Yeah he just beat the Lions, and threw for nearly 400 yards, but he also had 54 attempts, and 3 INT's. Griffin has a 67.4 completion %, with 16 TD's vs just 4 INT's. His QB rating is 104.6. Give Griffin 200 more attempts, and he's be over Lucks mark of 3600 yards. RG3 has also rushed for 642 yards and 6 TD's.
So, when it comes down to it, I honsetly don't see a more exciting player in the entire league right now, and any single player that is more valuable to their team than RG3. Maybe Luck should win the ROY award, and save the League MVP for Griffin. Not taking anything away from Luck, but that's just how good Griffin is. Russell Wilson is a nice young QB, but he's not in the same league as these other two.
As for Ryan Tannehill - WOW, what a reach by the Dolphins. Kid will never be better than league average - just like Ponder(who was also a HUGE reach).
