"Just being here with the coaching staff that's so dedicated to us," Robinson said. "The coaches are just so dedicated to us. You don't find coaches like Coach Fitz that put in the work that they do for us, and Coach O'Brien and the rest of the coaching staff."
Got to like this.
Penn State's Allen Robinson talks goals for 2013, new quarterbacks, and why he feels comfortable about returning to Penn State.
"I like your head, it's a good look." - James Franklin, to a bald reporter asking a question.
It's amazing how the supa six went from a bunch of unknowns (some were high profile recruits but only 1 starter from 2011) to big time contributors last year all in their second year.. Hopefully another core group steps up from the class of 2012 this season
Robinson is up to 209! I love that. He is going to be hard to handle.
BacardiBuckeye: "But in all honesty I like Penn State, I want to see Penn State do good that's why I check this board everyday." 4/2/14
Indeed....Fitz is turning him into a freak of a WR. Hopefully he can put up similar numbers this season. All depends on the QB play though, obviously.
"DOMINATE the state" - James Franklin 1/11/14
209 Great, I bet he is faster also. Can't wait to see him in action. Don't think he will get as many catches due to a wider variety of ball distribution but I bet he still has a boatload of yards.
Yeah baby!!! Arob = Stud!!!
About the QB worries. I don't really understand the worry. Yes, we'll be inexperienced but talent wise we are in good shape. I believe that BOB will have one of these guys ready. And sheer talent we are better off than with McGloin. IMO.
I have a feeling that you under-estimate how big a role experience plays in QB play... There will be growing pains, but if we have a game manager that simply does not make mistakes, we will be just fine. MM is a huge loss, and I was his biggest critic and never in a 1000000 years thought that I'd ever say that. I too think that BOB will have someone ready though. But QB is still one of the few concerns on offense...
WE ARE! And we will always be...
Agreed experience is huge. But MM did have limitations. IMO, physical skill improvement will make up for some the experience gap and the drop off won't be a severe as a lot think.
Plus a lot of other players have more experience and confidence they didn't have last year which will help the new QB
