When does the mercy rule kick in?
Against Notre Dame there will be NO mercy rule :)
Just realized, new-era is nowhere to be found in this thread.
“We need to keep this (expletive) together,” Mauti and Zordich to Hill
Remember, it lost to Youngstown State as well.
On another note AJ McCarron's GF has gone from 556 followers on twitter to over 70K in the course of this game.
“Never trust a government that doesn't trust its own citizens with guns.”
New Era only shows up when there is bad news to troll on. He is the Krampus.
Can we start calling him "Newman"?

"PSU a 3 to 4 win team" - New-era, September 2012
new-era is full of himself
Interesting with jones and McCarron there. Lol, man.
Jones is just mad because his girlfriend wasn't on TV five times
He also shows up to tell everyone how great ND is and what a great coach Kelly is.
Anyone else see the photographer get shoved by the state trooper?
This game more reminded me of another #1 team getting stomped.
1981, The 10-0 and #1 ranked Pitt Panthers, lead by Dan Marino meet their destiny
"Whoever’s trying to kill me isn’t getting the job done. But one day, I’m going to punch that f___r in the face."
lol not even close... they run the ball effectively to open up the play action. They are able to be so successful because of the offensive line up front and the great RB recruits that Alabama is fortunate to get! ... I definitely dont seem them slowing down anytime soon.
Eh, I don't think Bama and BOB have the same philosophy when it comes to offense.
Both believe that bigger is better, but that is a gross overgeneralization of the two offenses. Similar sets, not at all similar philosophies.
Although if BOB had Yeldon and Lacy in the background, we'd probably run it a lot too. I don't know how Bama's TE's are in the passing game either because I haven't seen enough of them, but that would be a big factor in how BOB runs his offense.
Why should we have to go to class if we came here to play FOOTBALL, we ain't come to play SCHOOL, classes are POINTLESS
Millen was on Gameday earlier and mentioned the main thing Saban took away from his time with Saban was evaluation of talent for his system (since we know Millen is an expert at evaluating talent as shown by his work with the Lions ). Talked about tall corners, big lineman, speed on the outside, big beefy linebackers, etc...Its definitely more than that as Bama pretty much has their pick of talent, but it made me think some of OB and how him/his staff have been so on on evaluations before other teams jumped on them. Also made me think of the tall corners, bigger linebackers (such as Walton), speedier WRs that we seem to be targeting a good bit, and so forth.
Of course the offense's of OB and Saban's offenses are different, but I do not think they are THAT much different philosophically. Bama also has really evolved in the past few years, running some spread, pistol, etc...But like someone said its all about the run and setting up the play action. A lot of pro style offenses philosophically are like that though.
On Mike and Mike there are about 5 people watching them and one guy is wearing a Penn State hat....interesting
