Very good looking 2014 QB prospect. Very mobile and has a good arm. Makes a lot of plays. Has interest in Penn State.
I understand you may be his coach (or family member or friend). I haven't watched the highlights (nor am I even close to knowledgeable enough to break it down). But what I can say is that with the scholarship restrictions we're under, it is very uncertain whether or not we will be able to take a QB in the 2014 class. At this point, I'd guess we couldn't fit one in unless someone transfers.
That's the best information I can give to you about our situation. I hope Luke finds a great fit for him.
Thx for ur response. I really appreciate it.
i wouldnt dismiss taking a QB in 2014. If Hack shirts, its unlikely. if hack doesnt shirt, 2014 kid comes in and shirts and we have space between the qbs.
We have already offered multiple quarterbacks for 2014. We will take one next year. Its been made pretty clear that the staff views the position as too important to cut back on. They'll find the numbers elsewhere.

Thanks for posting...don't let these guys get you down. Hope he can check out & stays interested in PSU.
PSU has offered two. It's very possible QB in 2014 will be a pick-and-choose situation. If they don't get a QB who isn't high on their board, then they aren't going to keep going down the board just to get one. JMO.

PSU may very well take a QB next year, hard to know for sure. Regardless, I do not think Luke would be in line to get an offer. Good luck to him though.
Kid is solid. Who knows...
WE ARE! And we will always be...
Looks to have good size and has a great arm. I like how he keeps his head downfield when he on the move. His mechanics certainly have room for improvement, but I do like how quick his release is(kind of that 3/4 release you see so common these days). I'd obviously like to see game film against all competition to give a fair evaluation, but from what I've seen on his highlights, he seems poised, accurate, and has some good mobility.
Arm strength certainly jumps off the film at me. He looks to have a freakin cannon.

I wouldn't take a post by someone on a message board as gospel when it comes to recruiting. People here know nothing. Trust me.
I think it will depend on a combination of things. The biggest may be any attrition we have that opens up spots or if we sign/lose any commits this year, problem is that with such limited numbers, if we lose a guy, we are pretty much going to be looking for the same position to keep the numbers at each position reasonable. If we lose someone from a position where we are flush then maybe QB is a spot where they build up numbers. I think a lot may depend on what happens with the two run on qb's as well. Don't know much about them, but I think a few have commented that Whipple could be good. If BoB is satisfied with them for depth I doubt we see one next year unless it is someone BoB thinks he has to take cause they are just to good to pass up.
Like Solo said though, take it all with a grain of salt, No one here really knows anything.......
Thanks for the film though, kid looks good and if you are connected to the kid good luck to him where ever he may end up - especially if it is PSU.
