    Hoax. http://www.kansascw.com/kscw/sns-rt-us-morganfreeman-hoaxbre8bg01q-20121216,0,3881590.story

Figures. The internet makes it way too easy to do this sort of thing.

However, for me it doesn't detract from the message. Just because Morgan Freeman didn't say it doesn't mean there isn't some truth to it. The media doing what they do to get their story and ratings isn't a new concept though.

  • Dude was f'd up. There's no need to watch a show about his life. I have purposely not watched one second about this mess since the news broke. It's sad, it's terrible, but nothing can be learned about this. He was a sick man. Nothing more, nothing less.

Man. That's not what i was saying... At all. I just posted what I posted in a hurry and left the room. I come back to find people saying that I was trying to say that he did it because he had asburgers... Cmon guys.

I was born with asphalt disease, which resulted with a crack in my bum.

Asperger's is another well-known disease. As far as Asburgers, if I knew my burger was made of one, I probably would decline to eat it.

You find interesting threads to show your strange sense of humor.

  • Sorry but Americans shouldnt be walking around with high powered assault rifles and extended mags! For what? This needs to be addressed. The right to own guns needs limitations and the type of weapons available for purchase needs to be re-examined. This is also very much a cultural issue as a result of moral decay in america. Families are broken and Parents dont parent you never saw this 40 yrs ago.

While I have and will always be open to a reasonable assault weapons ban as well as gun contol measures (surprisingly Chuck Schumer had a really good perspective on this on Face the Nation), I wold love to see you come and try to take mine away from me new-era.

I think this is the first time I have ever agreed with you.

I grew up around guns, my father owns probably 20-30 of them. Certain things are not needed. An extended clip is unnecessary. Semi-automatic is unnecessary. Handguns are unnecessary.

We need to eliminate those things. We should NEVER lose our right to own guns, but they should be limited to rifles and shotguns over a certain length with standard clips and no semi-automatics. This way, you can still hunt and you can still protect your home. Will it stop gun violence? No, of course not. However, it sure as hell would reduce it.

  • OK guys, this has nothing to do with Penn State football. I know it's a timely subject, but we've gotten off course here. Locking it up.
