    I think it's still premature to make McGloin the likely starter. Otherwise, spot on. Nice article.

  • To me the key on offense still, is being able to run the ball. It may be even more important this year due to the complexity of the passing game. If we can hand off to Redd, Belton and hopefully Dukes much of the time, then we should be able to complete play action passes well enough to have some balance and keep people guessing. The OLine at the Blue White game actually impressed me in their ability to open running lanes. While O'Brian probably wants to eventually throw the ball more, and all over the field, lack of QB experience in his offense will probably prevent that from happening, at least at the beginning of the year. His challenge will be to keep it simple and give his players only what they can handle at first, gradually adding more as the year goes on.
