With hoops being across 2 years (ie: fall of 2012-spring of 2013) I am confused as to what year Brandon is? Is he currently a Sr who will sign this spring and play for PSU next year or is he currently a Jr who will sign next fall in his Sr yr and play for PSU 2 seasons from now?

Like I said, the video is almost two years old. He's been averaging 13 points and 7.5 assists while playing anywhere from the point to the small forward position. His jumper has been the most improved part of his game over the past year or so.

So does this mean we're out of the running for Sheldon Jeter? The kid seemed really interested and I know we have a limited number of scholarships.
P.S.--I love that Chambers has gotten better recruits in less than 12 months than Ed DeChellis did in his entire tenure at Penn State. This is what happens when the coach actually gives a damn about recruiting. I hope the football program gets the same upward trajectory.

There is still room for Jeter... He's a 2012 kid. We are in very good standing too. He might be waiting for a Pitt offer which is why he hasn't committed yet, but who knows if that offer is coming.

Like PSUBills said, there's still a scholarship open.
Basically, Peter Alexis (currently on the team) won't be on scholarship next season. There is still one scholarship open right now (Alexis' vacated one), whether it is used in 2012 for Jeter (most likely) or 2013 for another player remains to be seen.

It is really great what Coach Chambers is doing... Hopefully Jeter comes on board.
Once coach gets the roster that he wants, I see tournament runs in our future. The team is coached well and hustles for every rebound. I'm impressed at what he's done after losing 4 starters from last year's team.
