Camren Williams headed back to OSU for a visit

Who cares what he said...people on your board might?

exactly. more VIP threads to keep tools like this out.

I'm tired of hearing about ohio state. I'm tired of seeing the NCAA cower down into a fetal position every time OSU commits a sanction, and i'm tired of Jim Delaney sucking off Ohio State as he does every chance he gets.

We all know that Ohio State is an embaressment to the Big Ten. We all know they reported almost 400 violations in 2010. We all know they cheat, and give players improper benefits.

Please forgive me Ohio state fans, but...

I DON'T GIVE A RATS A$$ WHAT MEYER SAID. It doesn't pertain to Penn State, take it somewhere else. I don't give a flying f*ck that your program just got away from serious sanctions because your crooked AD has a lot of buddies on the NCAA Sanction committee.

Get it the hell off the board.

Not sure how many people have heard or read this already, but this was Urban Meyer's diologue to the team during his first meeting with them.

"I'm not f**King around, I'm not dealing with any bullshit. I plan on putting up 100 points against every team and I don't give a damn what any reporter or coach says about it "

"I'm not f*cking around, every one of you, besides you Braxton, will be gone in two years. I'm a family man, and I plan on adding 55 crystal trophies to my family in the next few seasons, and none of you here are big enough or fast enough to do it. Now, I don't know enough about coaching football to help anybody here get better, but in my experience I have found that if you run a spread with a Heisman caliber QB you can win a lot of football games. I look forward to coaching this team next season, and you should feel honored I took this job. Most of you will be gone after next year anyway, so while you're sitting at home because you can't afford to go back to school, at least you can tell your friends and family you played for Urban Meyer. And I'm a family man. I'm not putting up with any bullshit, which means I get first dibs on any coed I want. I'm a family man, and as the patriarch I get whatever, and whoever I want, first. Oh, and one last thing: every friday I will have a team prayer session in the players lounge. Our mandatory team prayer: 'dear lord, please make Saban lose.' If we get invited to any bowl game where he coaches, we're gonna have to turn it down, that guy scares me. And I'm a family man."

  • I've just realized that Camren must be a sleeper cell. He's leading on Meyer and tying up a spot. When signing day comes, he'll drop the bomb and sign with the good guys. Nothing else makes sense for a kid that loves Penn State as much as he does.

Urban probably told him Mother Mary came to him in a dream, and gave birth to Cam wearing an OSU jersey. Speaking to a dream interpreter, that doesn't mean he's crazy, it means Mary wants Cam to go to OSU.

I know you'll never admit it, but you have to just feel at least a little slimy having this fraud as your new head coach. And I say this as someone who never wanted him at PSU, so don't pull out the "You're just jealous" card. He represents all that is wrong with NCAA athletics today. What makes him worse than the oversigners like Saban and Miles is that at least they admit what they are. Meyer tries to sell himself as an alter boy, and it's just such a cheap hustle.

    42 Arizona 21 24 25 24 19 113 22.6

    49 Mich St 21 22 23 21 23 110 22.0

These are oversigning numbers from 2007-2011. Yes, FLA signed 27 2x, but comes in at 22.4 on average, #45 in the country. And one of those 27s Meyer was gone. Only Vandy signed less in the SEC.

It's funny how many on these boards (and many of my PSU friends) are hoping to reel in an SEC coach in Richt or Mullen (whose team is 6th on this list by the way).

But I am sure you are not one of them fortheglory, you do not want Mullen nor did you want Meyer. You and other PSU fans never wanted that slimy Meyer and need and want someone holier than all the rest because this is Penn State after all. You do it better than anyone else. Success with Honor, right?

    You guys are funny.

Then you get kicked again, and its your favorite recruit in the class standing there WITH Urban Meyer... What's next?

No one said that Meyer was an oversigner. What we are saying is that he flat out lies to recruits to get them on board. His "i had a dream" pitch to S. Floyd was one of the most pathetic ploys I have seen. He knew it would work on Floyd just like he knew that the "family man" angle would work on Spence. Urban simply identifies what the kid and his family is looking for in a coach and makes himself into that person. Family man??? LOL. Come on now... even you know that if far from the truth.

The dream thing never happened. Above is Floyd saying as much.

It says the rumor started from a message board (probably here) by OSU fans because of our bitterness at losing a recruit. Just like you guys are perpetuating rumors to make yourselves feel better, it appears some OSU fans started the darn thing to make THEMSELVES feel better. It's human nature.

Pretty ironic isn't it that OSU fans started the rumors they are now trying defend against?

And I apologize if I say anything that is not correct as far as Meyer lying or not lying to recruits. I did not know that you and most PSU fans were in these kids living rooms while Meyer was there lying to them I will defer to you on such matters from now on.

Did an interview last night with Bucknuts 247 Bill Kurelic where he said he is going back to visit OSU after the dead period with his mother.

After that visit he will allow Urban Meyer to do a in-home visit with him.

OSU sanction are not a big deal and won't impact his thinking on OSU.

Sean or any staff member..Can you talk with Williams to get a feel for this?? Is this a second plan for the young man or do you feel he is leaving as everyone else seems to be!! We will all wait here watching the commits leave while the people in charge make everyone wait for the BIG HIRE.....

    sorry.

In a huge Sunday piece in the Philadelphia Inquirer this weekend, the newspaper's Mike Jensen sat down with Florida Gators' commitment Sharrif Floyd to get inside the mind of one of the nation's best, and biggest, high school football players.

Floyd, a 6-foot-3, 310-pound human wrecking ball of a defensive tackle from Philly's George Washington High, is to sign a National Letter of Intent with the Gators on Wednesday and he's gained quite a legacy before he even officially steps foot on the Gainesville campus. One of the stories, however, Floyd dispels, and even later tracked down the culprit.

It seems the story about coach Urban Meyer telling Floyd that he had dreamed of coaching him on the sidelines and that he saw it as a sign from God that, "I guess if it's my time to die, I'd rather die on the sidelines coaching you than anywhere in the world."

There was also a quote attributed to Floyd that said, "Urban Meyer said he would die for me."

Year in Review: Check out our favorite photos from 2011

Not true, says Floyd. Never happened.

The culprit? The story initiated from inside an Ohio State's recruiting site. It surfaced shortly after Floyd announced on national TV that he had chosen the Gators for his college football team.

"I looked at that as disrespect," Floyd told the Inquirer. "Urban Meyer and me, we built a relationship. Him saying something like that -- I wouldn't even think of him saying something like that. We just talked. We didn't talk about God. We just caught up on everything."

  • In Cam's defense, we are in a state of turmoil at this point, and he may not like the new HC being named. Noone knows who would be retained, and Vandy is a big part of any LBs commitment to PSU.

I'd be surprised if he committed to OSU when he visits, but I can't really blame him.

Plus, for all we know Urban is telling him we've hired Jay as HC, and that the word going around is that no schollies would be honored. Who knows?

But see, that wasn't the dream. Maybe OSU fans turned it into a "Urban said he would die for Floyd" or a "God told me this" rumor, but the dream that I remember is that Urban told Floyd that he had a dream that he was coaching him in the national title game.

Need more? He told Matt Elam that the thought of coaching him is why he took a leave of absence and did not quit/retire from Florida after his "health scare". Urban is a used car salesman, period.

Hoke supposedly told an OSU recruit we would get a 6 yr bowl ban.

But it's a forum, so take it for what it's worth. You can believe Meyer is lying through his teeth to get recruits and some will believe Hoke is as well. It's the way the world spins I guess.

Not that I care about Hoke, but you have no idea what Hoke told recruits. We know what Urban told Floyd and Elam. We also know that he cited "wanting to spend more time with the family" when he left Florida, only get quickly get a job with ESPN that sent him all around the country, not just during football season, but also before it. Then he goes to OSU, seemingly totally forgetting about his need to "spend time with the family". Finally, he stood up there and said that OSU was his dream job and the only one that would have taken him out of retirement despite:

    1) Him saying that ND was his "dream job" previously (Urban apparently has a lot of dreams)
    2) PSU having courted him as the next HC, which was confirmed by multiple sources. Why even listen to PSU if OSU was the only job that you would come back to the game for???

Again, Urban just says whatever sounds good at the time. He is a liar and you can't believe a word that he says. At least Tressel didn't flatout lie... he just kept things to himself. Personally, I think JT is less of sleeze than Urban.
