Bullock talks Penn State visit

Penn State welcomed over 100 recruits to Happy Valley on Saturday for its game against Ohio State. Amongst those faces in the crowd was Tampa (Fla.) Plant back Wesley Bullock.

This may rub some the wrong way but if Toledo is in the same universe as Penn State in his mind, we're better off without the kid. Jesus! That's embarrassing. Can you imagine a kid taking his time deciding between Alabama and Toledo, sanctions or not?

He won't be in this class. He is waiting for an offer from somewhere else or was told we are only taking one between you and Anderson and got word Anderson pulled the trigger. They fact he is waiting is telling. He lost his chance.

However, he did sound more enthusiastic in other quotes and updates after the game; so it's possible that he heard about Anderson and now his spot may be taken. Who knows.

I like him as well, and I don't think this is has anything to do with Anderson. I think Wesley is hoping for an offer from a school he likes more. Maybe it's one closer to home so his family can see him play more; maybe he dislikes cold weather; maybe he really wants to play in the SEC. For whatever reason, the kid isn't ready to commit. I have no problem with that. Not every kid grows up a huge PSU fan, and as someone who desperately wanted to attend PSU but ended up at FSU due to distance and finances, I hope Wesley ends up where he really wants to be. Hopefully that ends up being State College.

I, for one, hope Bullock becomes part of this class. I don't think it's a matter of not having room for Bullock. Anderson counts against the class of 2012. Bullock 2013.
