Brian Norwood leaving Baylor?

Post-Gazette is reporting that Pitt defensive coordinator and interim head coach Phil Bennett is expected to be named the DC at Baylor next week. Where does that leave Norwood?

Was just looking into this... apparently Norwood is staying put, but giving up the DC title.

ouch. a demotion can't feel too good. especially at a perennial bottom-feeder like baylor.

Yeah, I asked Tom Dienhert of Yahoo! about that and he confirmed that Brian is staying put at Baylor at least until Levi is through with the program.

It looks like he got promoted. He is now listed as Associate Head Coach on Baylor website. If he was Associate Head Coach last season, he is just giving up the DC title.

That's cool. I hope it's not just titular but comes with some real authority. I have nothing but admiration for the Jordan family and I wish them all success.
