Only way I see Kelly canned if they totally tank(4-8ish) but with that schedule, I believe the heat will be in 2013

ND is an incredible school and program but It blows me away that people want to play or work for that guy. He must have a totally different personality outside of the games.

lol, I am extremely happy they got Deeb. Never wanted Deeb. I did want AA, but I am not worried about LB ever at LBU as Vandy has turned quite a few 3 star kids into All-American Pro Bowlers.

I've enjoyed watching ND tank the last decade, but counting 2013, they've put together 3 excellent recruiting classes in a row. Unfortunately, ND has out-recruited PSU.....guess we'll see how it unfolds on the playing field.

Nobody is getting hammered. The BOT is not that dumb. They still have control of what comes out in that report.

Who even cares about Notre Dame anymore? They don't play in a conference, and they can't seem to break eight wins. Tons of tradition, but a weak product on the field. They're basically a service academy, but yet any Notre Dame will tell you this next coach or this next player will return them to glory.
Face it, Domers. You're no better than Army or Navy. In fact, I might even say you're not as good as Navy.

Guys, lets not pretend to guess on whether or not ND will tank this year. They have tanked every year since 1993. The few years that were successful they lost their bowl game. They have won two bowl games in 19 years, the sun bowl and the hawaii bowl. ND will blow it again this year...guaranteed. ND football is soooooooo far past their prime. All you have to do is look back at the fact of history to back up that statement.

I actually had respect for ND at one point in time, but I lost respect them after how they treated a few of their ex-coaches.

Don't underestimate the recruiting aspect of how a coach is viewed. Kelly needs to put it together on the field and get to the BCS soon, but if Notre Dame is still bringing in top guys, they won't want to mess with that. Especially if they have a top class on the way.
