Do the five years of eligibility that athletes have refer only to scholarship athletes? Can kids who pay their own way play as long as they're in good academic standing? Just wondering.

Schollies are year to year and sometimes Joe has an extra one to give to player who earned it, but it's only for a year.

The poster who characterized Kreiser as a "scrub" didn't see him play in the state championship game two years ago. The kid is a ball player. If he got the scholarship you can bet he has earned it.

I knew that one was coming.....Guess I seemed to rouse some Selinsgrove locals...I was just trying to convey the point of the scholarship allotment scenario that we are all attempting to figure out on this board.....I'd rather have a kid from the WPIAL that is being recruited by enough schools to play both ways than a kid already with some injury history already and that played in a dumpy area of PA that barely could get admitted to main campus in the first place....I'll do my best to alleviate any ill will by getting back to this topics subject which is Breneman....barring a lack of contact combined with a Taylor commitment, this kid is all ours....PSU fan his whole life
