Boo. No ring for BoB.

I would say "tarnish" isn't the correct word for it. That said, since 2004, their TEAM hasn't won the big one. And In that time Brady has looked very average in those 2 SB losses.

Thought he looked much better then average tonight. Did you miss the 16 in a row?

Try to fathom the hypocrisy of a Government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured .but not prove they're a citizen

Ya Brady looked pretty damn good tonight. How many drops did the pats have in the 4th?

I guess I should warn you, if I turn out to be particularly clear, you've probably misunderstood what I've said.

  • Tough loss for the Pats. Only reason why I'm pissed is because Coach O'Brien didn't get a ring to flash around when visiting recruits. Oh well. His offense speaks for itself. The Pats D is far from stellar compared to the Giants, IMO. The Giants were trying extremely hard to give the game to the Pats but they were extremely lucky with recovering fumbles and making big time plays.

Wow, just wow. They had 2 good drives. One game proves nothing either way (good or bad) but it wasn't a great display of offense and play calling.

Pete, NE was 2nd in the league in total yards this year and 3rd in PPG. Brady had his 2nd best statistical season of his career... at age 34. What point are you trying to make here????

Drops absolutely are what killed the Pats tonight. Welker dropping that fly route was huge. BOB put them in a position to win and they didn't execute. It's as simple as that.

I'm not sure what you are getting at other than being overly critical as usual.

Making big plays isn't luck. Especially when it's done repetitively. His offense speaks for itself?

And the Giants had some bad calls/non calls against them. I could also tell Scott they haven't won a SB since BOB got there.. You win games in the clutch, the Pats used to. It's funny that a fan base that preaches defense all picked the team with the worse defense to win.

Stop it ... they had one questionable call on them. Neither team deserved to win.

A healthy Gronk, the Giants lose. It's pretty obvious to me.

Ya, but besides week one no team is 100%. Thats just football gotta adjust.

They also had no running game forcing Brady to pass more. I'm saying he isn't the greatest thing since sliced bread like many here make him out to be. If that makes me overly critical then so be it.

The giants had bad penalties that killed them too.

My second point is lets see what he does at PSU. It's easy to game plan when your qb is Tom Brady. Before the masses here amount him the savior lets see what he does in college, where he's failed badly in the past. I don't think he's a great OC.

If they make that holding call on 3rd n 1 on Booth they have to make the same call on the Pats Oline on the Woodhead TD. They missed a bad facemask call against Jacobs, the PI play. Both those holding call and non call were huge.

If winning was easy even losers would do it.

I'm sure if I watched the Super Bowl again, I can find several non holding calls on the Giants too. Booth's holding call was legit.

I'm sure you could. But those 2 were in key situations.

They don't have the personnel for a running game. They aren't a dominant run blocking team and they certainly don't have a top-flight RB. Their strength is TE (with Gronk being at 80%) and the smurfs.

I honestly don't know what you expect from a "great OC"... but 2nd in yardage and 3rd in the PPG is pretty good. In fact, yardage-wise, it is the best in Brady's career and 2nd best in PPG behind only that perfect 2007 season. So it's not just Brady. Maybe it makes you uncomfortable to see an offense use the pass to setup the run, but when you lack a dynamic RB and run blocking, that is what you have to do. Don't you at least give credit to BOB for recognizing what his players could do and calling towards their strengths? Isn't that what a good OC does?

It wasn't that we picked them to win, it was that we wanted them to for BOB and our recruitings sake. At least that's how I looked at it. And that's given that BOB having a ring would help recruiting, which it very well might not of, but I figured it couldn't hurt either...

So that's a stike against him? I just don't understand that mentality.

We should all know what bad coordinating is.... calling repeated screen passes when your QBs suck at them, calling a run up the middle on 3rd and short against a loaded box... those are examples of poor playcalling. BOB called a good game tonight. There's no need in calling it anything less than that.

I'm good. I've seen plenty of Pats games this year... I saw the evolution of the offense. I'm very comfortable and excited with BOB calling plays for us.
