probably best for everybody. He needs a fresh start somewhere and needs to take some time. I would go a step down in competition .. meaning like a MAC school ... take the year and work on the basics again.
Best of luck to Rob ... seems like a good kid ... things don't always work out at first .... hopefully things will get better for him.

I'm not too broken up about it. He made me nervous when he was out there. Bad things happened with frequency.

Good luck to Rob. It's needed big time on his end, he just didn't seem comfortable at PSU. His tweets always have a vibe of him thoroughly enjoying the city life, especially when he's back home in Michigan. That opens up the door for scholly.

Great example of a kid that should have redshirted and needed a better QB coach to develop him at the time. He was put in before he was ready and made too many mistakes that ultimately cost him his confidence. He needs to step away and gain his confidence back and Penn St needs to move on. This move is no doubt good for both. I wish him a ton of success in his future. He's a good kid.

The kid was a great looking athlete until he threw the ball, then I had no idea where it was going land. I wish him luck. As I recall his Dad wanted him to transfer after his Freshman year but Joe said no. I'm sure he'll find a school.
