for kids sleeping on sofa's of existing players?
But Ohio State and Miami (to date) was not found to be LOIC.
Something very very seriously wrong with this.

wasn't their athletic dept. charged with LOIC due to ridiculous violations in their tennis programs (IIRC the coach used players not enrolled at the school)? The tennis program had been warned for violations in the past. I think there were issues with the wrestling program too.
Boise St.'s football team lost a whopping 3 scholarships. It is not like they got killed like USC.

that may be, but players getting paid at Ohio State for 10 years doesn't qualify as LOIC?

I think there's plenty of institutional control at OSU - they've institutionalized finding ways to get their players money under the table and have it completely under control.

The NCAA was so mad at OSU and Miami that they slapped Boise with LOIC.
Typical of how the NCAA works. Total joke. Just turn football into the minor leagues and be done with it
