If Taylor and Evans could have kept their stuff straight off the field, wow would that have been a beastly defensive line.

Cool feature, Jeff. It's always interesting to look back and see where guys started out their careers and where/how they ended up.

Man, on paper that was one helluva talented class. Lots of those guys were head cases though and or couldn't hack it in the classroom. You win some and you lose some in recruiting.

What's really different about the 2006 class compared to the 2007 class is alot of the guys we missed out on in 2006 were really good. Despite that this was still a great class.

Odrick was OK, too.

Yup, to pair with maybin and odrick, it would have been nasty.. unfortunately they all peaked at different times in their career, with 3 of them leaving psu early

The first huge recruiting class on the heels of the DWill/King class. That class was not large in numbers, but had headliners. This class had both. Unfortunately, it brought baggage, and brought a lot of bad publicity to PSU. Took flyers on a lot of kids. Some worked out, like Bowman. He had a bad home life, and it almost got him. But some could not get above it.

Talented but troubled indeed. For a few. Certainly not the majoruty of the class.

Brings back a lot of memories from that time period.
