Beaver Stadium Is Suddenly Missing Some Class...

Perhaps some of you haven't heard that the large black-and-white photo posters of Penn State football greats were removed from the concourses of the stadium, presumably between the Navy and Temple games. The administration ordered the athletic department to remove and discard them. Since the players had been coached by an Italian guy who never existed, their pictures could no longer remain on display.
Say goodbye to the great football tradition at Penn State. Does anybody care?
Renaming a flavor of ice cream at the Creamery "Peach! just Peach!" is one thing. Eliminating the pictures of great players to help obliterate any trace of a great coach is quite another. Beyond disgusting!

It's still Peachy Paterno according to the creamery website. This post sounds like made up crap.

I haven't been to the Creamery for a few years, so I cannot vouch for the flavor name change. However, I've been told by a couple of people I trust that the photo posters were in fact removed--and precisely for the "reason" that I gave.
A slight correction. The pictures were apparently removed before the Navy game.

I spent the first half enjoying some serious dominance by the Lions, even though the scoreboard didn't show it, and then spent the second half trying to catch glimpses of the game while at a restaurant celebrating my mom's 93rd birthday. Ordinarily, I'm riveted to a screen somewhere.
Given what's happened to the program, I am delighted by any win this season, no matter how unattractive it might be.
I was struck by the extraordinary offensive PI call made against PSU just as it looked like they might break the game open in the second quarter, and then two more major iffy penalties right after that. There may be other "interesting" referee calls this season. How about you?

Eh, the penalties happen. Though that OPI was terrrrrible.
Overall happy. I'd like to see us finish drives better still. We can't get away with that against better and well coached teams, that lost us two games already. The OL is still driving me nuts. They got better as the game went on, which is good. But we can't have them starting off slow like that. They'll be fine, I'm just anxious overall.
Also, no one has delighted me more than Kyle Carter this year. And my dude Zordich had a freaking game. Not too worried about his knee tbh.

Hawk: The pictures were taken down because the Administration ordered them taken down. They don't want any visual evidence of the Paterno years, including the great Penn State players he coached. Why in hell would I make this up?
MTayl72: Fortunately, the Big Ten is really weak this year, so the Lions could get away with some more red zone inefficiency and still win some games. I'm not proud this year--I treasure every win they get.

WTF! I want answers now! If true, this BOT needs stopped & it's time 2 break out the big guns. Lets face it folks, these clowns aren't stepping down unless they are made to. For example, Karen Peetz o'shit works for Bank of NY Mellon. If people protest at the BNY facilities and make complaints to BNY about her it is very much possible the BNY board of directors ask her to step down.

I was at the game yesterday and to be honest I didn't notice if they were there or not... What I will say though is that when they were honoring the 82 team they showed highlights which included Paterno. Also, the bricks are still outside the stadium for Joe...
