Baskeball Early Signing Period...

starts today. Both Geno Thorpe and Graham Woodward have signed their letters of intent to play for Penn State so far. Julian Moore and Payton Banks told me they'll be signing as well, once it is official I'll get an update out.
EDIT: Just in case it is unclear, all four have signed.

Very excited for Thorpe and Woodward....think they will make a very good guard combo for the future.

WOW! I just looked at the commit page and didn't realize that Thorpe, Moore, and Banks are all in the Top 250 of the 247 rankings. Woodward is not there, but still has three stars and after watching his highlights, looks as though he will fit the PG position very well.
EXCITING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Exactly and I don't look at Woodward as the weak link of this class either. He had an offer from Gonzaga for instance, and well, they look pretty good.
One of the other sites has our recruiting class as 7th right now for 2013 in the B1G

I didn't realize that either, very cool. Also looks like 247 has each of our prospects rated higher than the 247 Composite (i.e. other sites). Very excited to see what these kids can bring to the table.

Just got word from Payton Banks, his letter was faxed in earlier this morning. Julian Moore's letter should be along later in the day.

Don't forget.....PSU takes on #6 NC State tomorrow night and it will be televised on ESPN2. Unfortunately I have to work so will not be able to watch.....maybe I can follow along on my phone :).
