Back from vacation and excited with the new staff

  • Haven't been online in a week but liking the new staff. Clearly looks like a more aggresive O and D coming in the next few years. I like the possible recruiting potential as well. Lots of ties to traditional SEC areas with Roof, Hixon & Butler, Mac bringing some strong Texas area ties and some ties to Michigan and Ohio with Strollo as well as keeping Vandy and LJ in their areas. Might not mean much this year but could be promising going forward.

Really feeling better about the future of the O-Line.

Good to be excited again, sorry if I am rehashing anything from earlier this week.

One thing that will be imperative now that we're going to an aggressive defense, is to recruit blue chip CB's. I think we have one on the roster, now, with Amos. Thomas may be one if he could ever get out of the doghouse. This is why getting Reeves in here is such a big ticket item. You need to have 3 or 4 shutdown corners to be successful with an aggressive defense.

Amos is more of a safety but will be forced to be kept at CB because of depth
