I don't care if some of you prefer the ACC...I do care in the sense that I like PSU, and like having them in my conference....
What's funny is that some of the posters on here really believe they can make a jump to the ACC happen....with letters, or emails etc....

Gee, I don't know Hamilton...maybe the same reason you start some of your threads about OSU, or is it O$U.....
"Vandy dumps OSU", why in the world would PSU fans care about O$U's schedule? Did you post that to get a rise out of Buckeye fans, or just for all the "upvotes"?

Still waiting on why Robo posted that thread. Or for him to just leave. But if it's so innocent, I'm sure he has a great explanation as to what excellent discussion he was expecting on the Bucknuts board with that thread.

.B) I posted it because I wanted to....period....like it or not, the select few, that you are starting to resemble, are made fun of on a LOT of other teams boards as "dilusional"....so really no wonder why the reputation of PSU fans all being grouped as "dilusional" or "crazy" as has been said by many is widely accepted....

Syracuse and Pitt DON'T bring what PSU brings. That is why they will never be "in" They only bring men's hoops and nothing else. Notre Dame is a northern team, so are they going to be cast as outsiders? PSU is alot closer to ND than Pitt and Syracuse combined.

That's part of my reasoning as to why they won't accept you...they are a basketball conference, period, and they don't give a hoot about football...they still don't consider FSU as adding anything to their beloved southern boy conference....I've lived down here for 23 years and anything north of Virginia is a Yankee....there is no difference in their minds to the Midwest and New Jersey....period...
If you guys really believe the officials in the BIG are against you, I'd sure hate for you to get your wish and join the ACC, you'd be begging to get back to the BIG officials....

ACC is also trying to change the perception of its football. Do you honestly think they invited ND in without thinking that eventually ND would bring football? I don't. The ACC is taking a nasty hit football wise. It's not hard to figure it out. This year, the BIG certainly is, but year after year, the ACC gets hammered. You have Florida State; maybe Clemson and usually VPI (certainly not this year) and then everyone else. Clemson is enigmatic. They can beat Bama one week (example of a quality team) and then fall to Kennesaw State the next week.
I don't care where you live. You can claim to know what you think is the case, but if a PSU type entered that league, it would be respected, not neglected and would have a say, not ignored.

What threads did I start about OSU? Please, enlighten me.
Fact is, your avoidance of that question (which you seem to have no problem responding to everything else here) speaks volumes. "Because I wanted to." OK, fine.
Thank you for informing me of our reputation across the internet. I had no idea that morons on other sites considered us delusional. How ever am I going to get to sleep tonight?

ACC would be so much fun!! lol, I wanna go to Miami and UNC for football games. I would love to see the lions play the terps in basketball. Lets not kid ourselves, us east coast fans don't wanna travel to Iowa or cold ass Minnesota.
I would love to spend a weekend in Boston, and see a BC-PSU game!!! I AM ALL IN ACC!!! I can't stand the big 10, time for a fresh start. We put names on the back of our players, so tradition is out the window!!!I wanna play Pitt too

+1. Living in AZ, I have no interest in taking trips to East Lansing, West Lafayette, or even the "nicer" cities of the Big 10 when I could go to Florida, Georgia and the Carolina's for football and golf trips or family vacations. We'd still be playing in a BCS conference, IMO, I see no advantage of the Big 10 to the ACC from a purely football perspective.

Penn State is 3rd this year @ $100 million behind only TX and ND.
The Article indicates that PSU is certain to fall by $20-30 million as a result of the JS scandal.
In the Centre Daily Times, they indicate that PSU has already spent $20 million this year on JS.
Factor in the $12.5 million in NCAA fines and the loss of another $3.25 million in bowl revenue per year from the B1G, PSU is certain to drop.
ACC is expected to increase it's payouts with new TV agreements. Not near as much as the B1G but with the treatment that Delaney & Co. have done by piling on, the ACC certainly looks more attractive.
Get both ND and PSU in the ACC and real "Big" money follows.
SEC should surpass the B1G in money soon. If PSU defects, then the B1G is certain to lose TV market and money.
Fact is, the B1G needs PSU more than PSU needs the B1G.
Arguably, PSU is a better fit with B1G schools overall than the ACC. But if B1G continues to sh*t on PSU FB and BB then the ACC is certainly a better option, especially if it creates the first NCAA Super Conference.
Cheers!
Kirk
P.S. @ robo guy - I exchanged some good discussion and a little banter over on your board in the week leading up to the OSU game. On Sunday, after the game I went over to congratulate the Bucknuts, but could not because your looney mods banned me.
You have stirred up much more consternation here that I did there. Count yourself lucky that PSU mods are not as pissy as yours.
