B1G logo on field at Beaver Stadium

I would be in favor of "We Are"... I heard Mich is putting "Go Blue" on their hashes... I like us saying We Are on our field... The conference logo is just eh... And after this past year, and the lack of support from the Commish, I'm def more in favor of our own motto rather than his logo...

    #WeAre?

    No thanks.

  • I love our field. We have the nicest grass field in the world IMO for outdoor sporting events. At least definitely the best for football. Thanks Turf Grass Management.

Our field always looks so nice, green, lined perfect, and cut perfect. Funny, because Heinz Field has not been able to get their field grass right since that stadium opened. They should hire PSU to fix their field but prob. to stubborn so they continue to play on a field that is a risk for career ending injuries that looks like the fairway of me hacking away at a golf ball multiple times and tearing up the grass.

You find out life's this game of inches, so is football. Because in either game, life or football-the margin for error is so small. -Pacino

how about the lion logo on the 50 yd? Anyone like that idea?

    Yup.

  • How about a big JOEPA right on the 50. I would be okay with that for the spring game, or MISS You JOE. that would be pretty cool

There are 7 games played at Beaver Stadlium. At Heinz they have the Steelers, Pitt, and host PIAA playoff games. The Rooneys want it that way, but you are right..the field is always a mess.

...and if you're not down with that, then I got 2 words for ya.."suck it!!"

    Yup.

Disagree. I love the fact that we have nothing at midfield.

  • Nothing wrong with the logo.

This is what it's like playing in a conference. Our years as an independent still linger in many.

No reason it should be that bad. Other grass stadiums have a lot of games/events played on it, but it still looks like a professional grass field. Heinz resods and resods and it just makes it worse and worse. Its consistently as bad as our LSU/PSU game in the Capital One Bowl.

Local high schools with grass fields have better fields after doing everyone on their field.

epaps, nice to see you on here, bud.

I think in exchange for the B1G logo on the Beaver stadium field, they should put Joe Patern's name back on the B1G Championship game trophy.

    Thanks, Josh!

Nice compromise but after the shoddy treatment from the BigTen after the Sandusky crap I want nothing to do with the big ten let alone their logo on the field. I am still in favor of leaving the big ten for another conference. The ACC would be perfect for me but I am bias since I live in NC where I could easily attend every away game.

  • I assume it's bc we'll be on the btn, but seeing as how they are airing the OSu game live, I don't see why we should do them any favors.. Last year they aired the mich spring game live over ours.. The conference really hasn't done much to show they value every school equally.. Would be cool to join the acc and play all the traditional rivals again each year.. Pitt, cuse, bc, Miami, Virginia, seems like the best fit plus I always wanted us to play vtech

I have to agree. I have not felt like we have had a true rival since we joined the little ten conference. I am all in for the ACC. Every week would be a good game..sorry but Minnesota, Purdue, even Iowa do nothing for me.
