We really need the kids in the consy brackets to post final bout wins. I don't trust Brown at 174 against Evans from Iowa, so if we need to rely on all four of our finalists to win in order to win the team title, I'm not really comfortable with that.
I'm not so sure you should count Brown out against Evans. Brown lost to Evans in IA on a last second takedown, if I'm not mistaken. It was very close anyway. I think Brown is wrestling better right now than he was when we went out to IA.

I would put McDonough as a lock at 125. Especially since Nico is inconsy final.

To be perfectly honest, I am really happy that we have awesome teams in our conference like Iowa and Minnesota. To win the conference championship without a big struggle is a bit shallow. And I think those teams push us and bring out the best in us...and us in them. So, even though it would be nice to cruise to a championship, I'd rather get there having to beat incredible teams...and if we do win, we will have beaten some of the best programs in the country....that's a legitimate road to a championship !
My 5 yr old son saw the black singlet of McD at the start of the match and stated "I don't like the black team, I hope they all lose." I love that boy:)
