At what point does conference get a new name? And what

should that name be?
I think they need to come up with something that isn't tied to the number of teams in the conference.
With our expansions, and possible future expansions more toward the south, they can't really utilize any geographic name, so what names strike y'all?

They're not going to change the brand name at this point. Part of me wonders if they didn't select the new B1G logo knowing they were going to go up to 16 teams.

How about "The Almost Yankees" Since everyone south of Kentucky thinks anyone north of them is a Yankee.

It doesn't. The Big Ten brand has value. There's no need to toss it out.

It'll be the Big Ten and the don't even need to change the Logo. Maybe tweak the G to look more like a six once #15 & #16 are onboard!

I was thinking along the same lines. Call the conference The Big 2 (BI2) and call the divisions The Bucknut Leaders and The Big Blue Legends.
