Sign this man up! The only thing I see that I would worry about is he seems to not like to pass much unless this was just a video to show his scoring ability.

There is a third member of this Basha High School team who will be playing major Division I hoops, 6-foot-7 Torren Jones, a wing player, but he hasn't heard from Penn State yet. We'll be tracking the progress of all three.

Jones is 2013 as well?
Thanks for the updates, Andrew. Coach Chambers is doing work, and I can't wait to see what the results end up being with his own recruits in place.

Nice player, but he is going to have to tighten up his ball handling if he wants to play in the B1G.
If Chambers if looking for a do-everything guard, he needs to go after a more local product...Aquille "Crimestopper" Carr from Baltimore Patterson...when he plays, all crime in Baltimore stops--check out the video and see why. I believe he's a JR and has already verbaled to Seton Hall, but hey, there's time, and he has some ridiculous skills...he can do everything...dishes, hit's 3s...he's 5'7" but can dunk...he is unbelievably quick...the video hardly does him justice.

I think Hopkins is going to blow up this summer on the AAU circuit. He has an terrific blend of size and athleticism for his position (PG). I read elsewhere he is the top rated overall player for 2013 in the state of Arizona - not a basketball hotbed but still a nice distinction. Chambers seems to love him, getting him on campus this summer is key if he is serious about Penn State. Looks the part of a very good player.
I also think their location hurts any type of national ranking throughout the high school season.

This quote is from four months ago, and I hate to toot my own horn (), but two other sites now have Hopkins as a Top 100 player in 2013 after his AAU play so far this season. Still likes Penn State and is trying to visit this summer. Arizona recently offered and is after him hard though, might be hard to get out of state (or off the west coast) now.

This is the kind of kid PSU needs, Chambers has his work cut out for him, he needs to do some selling of the program to the kids and families. We are... Get em on campus.
